We are taking ds at 11.5 mths and plan to take aptimal formula powder and mix when needed. Dd didn't go onto cows milk until a lot older and I would rather keep him on what he knows. We also have a small teavel kettle that we take and I plan to have him onto 2 bottles by the. (First thing and...
BA def don't do any form of meal option for an infancy. We took one of the baby tray meals and they were more than happy to heat that up for me. On our last trip when she had a seat they actually gave her child meal to a guy on the same row as us and he started eating what he was given and when...
Fab, thank you so much. She is only 4 (will be just turned 5 when we travel) and still thinks money "comes from the hole in the wall" no concept of earning it only of spending it! So even better than you need a PIN for it. Thanks again for you help :goodvibes
Fab, thank you :thumbsup2. So I think I am best to go for the post office credit card (or similar) and then cash for the smaller things or last days so I can keep track of the spending. I am also assuming I can request that only 1 magic band has charging privileges as my dd could have a whale of...
We are off to all stars sports in oct and will have a 5 year old and an 11 month old. This is the first time in a few years that we won't have the dinning plan so trying to decide what's the easiest thing to do in terms of paying for things. I like the idea of putting a credit card on the room...
We are going on the 15th - shame we aren't on the same flight as they could have kept each other company! We travelled with dd at 6 months, 18 months, 2.5 years and 3.5 years and she has always been fine but harder work the older she got! Hoping that this will be her best yet at 5 years and that...
We have travelled both to Mco with BA and don't really think it's worth the money. For me the biggest thing was the arm rests don't move in wt+ which we would normally spread a little over the seats by lifting the arm rests so I would say I can get more comfortable
We are travelling with our 11.5 month old in October and I am planning lots of snacks, a few small new toys, lots of walking round the plane, nappies changes for a change is scenery... I also have a ergo baby carrier so if he won't sleep in the sky cot (have heard that they aren't suitable for 1...
We have always used the disney pack and play cots and found the size of them fine. My 3 year old (averaged size, if anything on the taller size) slept 12hrs every night for 2 weeks last January. We have never had to pay and although I bring a sheet from him they provide blankets, pillows etc...

We have just booked for oct 2015 and gone with Caribbean beach, we LOVE POR but thought seeing as cbr was £200 cheaper we would give it a try, if anything the pool looks fab and dd will be 6 next year and ds will be a few weeks off turning 2 so we will try it. We are going this October as well...
Thanks peeps, we will bring our own food anyway as we always stock on bits for the littlies at the airport just so they can eat when hungry and it's kinda how we get them into us time by giving an extra meal but thanks for the tips and advice
Thank you, that's good that you can get baby food or at least request food for a baby. Dd has a kids meal booked anyway and between both our meals I am sure there will be enough for him but I always bring my own food anyway as We have never been offered anything for dd with ba until she got a...
Thanks for the replies, it seems there sky cots/seats aren't as big as BAs are as dd fitted in the seat one on BA until about 20 months! he is a big boy and is probably already just over the 9kg limit so I guess we might go for the £60 seat thing. Just really want somewhere he go go when he is...
So we have just booked for October and have decided to go with virgin rather than BA as they were cheaper. We have never flown with them so just wonder what the options are for child seats/sky cots? Ds will be just over 11 months and we haven't booked a seat for him although was given the option...
I agree food is fed the way to go. My dd has done the flight at 6 months, 18 mths, 2.5 years and 3.5 years and always eats about 4-5hrs apart (breakfast 7am, lunch 12pm, dinner 4.30pm) so all we do is give her an extra dinner and that seems to do the trick! She wakes a little earlier than normal...
We booked 3 rooms with this ebookers deal and got home Friday... It really was the deal of the century! We checked in and I was still expecting to get told no park tickets but park tickets for 10 for the 6 days of the trip! We didn't do breakfast much as the ques were awful as expected but all...
