Just booked Fairfield Inn 10/2-10/6!! It will be the 4 of us (DH, me, DD1, DD2) and our friends and their 2 girls :goodvibes We are planning to do Mickey's Halloween Party on 10/3 also, a first for all of us!

Thank you for your review of the Fairfield Inn!! I'm planning our trip in October and had been considering FFI, but we've never stayed there so I was unsure.

I would agree that the first 2 weeks of Dec would be good. We went Dec 7-11 last year and it was fantastic!! The only lines we waited in were Nemo (30min) and Toy Story (30 min) :)

Yahoo weather is showing rain on Sunday. Well, whenever it happens we'll be prepared :)

When I called to make my PS, the CM said to arrive at the restaurant 10 minutes early. I've seen others recommend entering DCA 10 minutes before that to allow walking time. From what I understand the CMs at the DCA gates will allow you in early so you can make your reservation on time. So if...

Just wanted to say thanks for all the great info here! We're taking our two girls (3 & 2) in Dec. and a Princess meal is obviously a must for us. I'd been wondering what to expect and from the looks of things I think we'll have a good time...at least I know the girls will be "star" struck!!

Considering that you're taking a 4yr. old...I'd say go Thurs, Fri, Sat. You'll have the possibility for less crowds which will make it more enjoyable for your DD (and for you!!). We're going mid-Dec. with our girls (2yr. and 3yr) princess:
