My husband was recently (July) diagnosed with thyroid cancer and we assumed the radiation therapy needed after surgery would mean no DL trip, so no 10K as I am his primary caregiver. But today the Dr said surgery went so well radiation isn't until AFTER Labor Day!!! I'm so happy. Running out...

Any suggestions for best place to eat the night before the race? :confused3 I'd prefer to not have to get in a car since we'll be onsite. I'm not used to racecations so eating the night before has me a little concerned.

Finally going to kick up my training for the 10K. Not excited about getting up early to beat the AZ heat. Here's to hoping Anaheim will be nice and cool in comparison.

The people running the RunDisney booth at the Rock&Roll Arizona expo yesterday said the DL Half would probably sell out in 3 weeks. Is that normal? I've only ran the Tink Half last year, so I'm a RunDisney newbie.

I've love to know too. We have one reserved for our trip in a week. Timing is going by soooo slowly.

My friend and I weren't up for all the wings last year so we put our Tink ears on our camelbacks. Such a great race! I highly suggest it. RunDisney did a fabulous job.

Another Phineas & Ferb fan. I love it! We road trip to DL from AZ, which is about 5.5 hrs...so your trips seems crazy long. But sometimes the draw of Disney is just too strong - totally get that. Can't wait to read more about your trip. popcorn::
