Forecast shows rain EVERYDAY we are there!

From my experience with past trips to WDW, you can bet on it it'll rain for about an hour or so every afternoon. Luckily, WDW has tons of indoor places. Usually that's the time we get something to eat and rest until the rain lets up. Have fun!

    Summit Plummet

I did it. It was great fun! It's over before you know it! Prepare to have a major wedgie at the end though. No shame in pickin'.

    I love nerds merchandise

I don't understand how this is sending a negative message? It says "Nerds Rock"... I wear glasses, had braces, adore reading, and love to learn. If that constitutes being a nerd (even though that in itself is stereotyping), then I guess I'm proud to be a nerd. I think the line is cute, I...

anyone there now? How hot/crowded is it?

I'm hoping when we go next week, the rainstorms will last 1-2 hours as they have during our past vacations during this time, like clock work everyday. Is that how it's been while you've been there?

    Stuffed animal prices, please....

Well, a few years ago I purchased a large Eeyore, it's about the size of a pillow in width, but a little longer. If I remember correctly, it was $50. My little sister has the huge Minnie Mouse that's about 4 feet tall, it was $100. I don't think the prices really change. Hope I helped! Have...

What was your favorite bit of Disney Magic?

When my little sister was younger, she was terrified of the non-face characters, like Donald, Minnie, Mickey, etc. We would have to back her up in her stroller and have the characters pose behind the stroller to get a picture, otherwise she would have a meltdown! When she was about 4, we were...

Rock 'N Rollercoaster with a Purse?

My purse isn't that big, so I'm hoping this trip I will be able to put it behind me or beside me, with the strap around me (the strap is really long). I don't trust those mesh bags, last trip on EE, the elastic at the top was a little loose and I was paranoid the entire time that my purse would...

The Concept of The Lazy River

Lazy rivers are my favourite, so hopefully when we go they won't be too busy.

Question about GF and checking out resorts.

One of my favourite things to do is check out other resorts on my downtime, it would be great for you and your son if you love Disney's theming. They all have shops in them and bars in each hotel (if that's your thing).

    Monorail/other rides and getting "stuck"

I've been on the monorail at least 100+ times in my life, it's never broken down when I've been on it. I have been on other rides in WDW that have broken down, but never for more than 10 minutes. I guess I've had good luck... so far! Fingers crossed for our upcoming trip! ;)

Space Mountain...to do or not to do? SO SCARED

Well, if I were you, despite being really scared, I would do it anyway. It only lasts about 2 minutes, and if you're scared, just close your eyes and count backwards. I've passed on rides before due to fear and I always regretted it everytime. I hope you have a magical trip!

Rank the Parks from Best to Worst

Can I have a tie for first? If so: 1. Magic Kingdom and Epcot 2. Disney Hollywood Studios 3. Animal Kingdom I love all WDW parks and would be happy with going to any. MK is tied with EPCOT for me because MK is so magical and nostalgic for me and my family and EPCOT has always...

    Which ride first?

I suggest the same thing! After SM, hit up POTC, the Jungle Cruise, and then HM, then I would go to Fantasyland. Congratulations, by the way! :)

Your BEST WDW theme park secret! Part II

Thanks for the new info, Dcanoli! I emailed you a week ago or so asking for the list of secrets, as I'll be going on vacation soon too. I'm glad you had so much fun! :) Could you please post a pic of Ray when you get the time? He reminds me of a CM I used to visit when I was young at DHS...

Q: To call out rude behavior or not?

Like you, when I go to WDW, I expect to have fun, not rudeness from others. I guess you misconstrued what I had said -- I don't go to WDW expecting every person to behave as I conduct myself, ie; following rules, being polite and mindful of others, etc because in my experience, not every person...
