Sorry, I didn't read your entire post (bad me). The military discounted rate will be your least expensive option. They will have to call in to book...military rates cannot be booked online! Hope it all works out for them!

The rate with the late summer room discount at Pop for Sept 2-9 in a standard room is $720.37 total. I believe this is going to be the least expensive option but I'm not sure about AAA rates. Hope that helps!

According to the 2012 DDP brochure, HOB is 1 table service dining credit for lunch and dinner on the dining plan. No mention of the Gospel Lunch.

I was going to suggest Mama Melrose. If your granddaughter is timid, I'm afraid that 50's PT may be too much for her...but the waitstaff will take note of this and not "egg" her on:) Hollywood and Vine only offers characters at bfast and lunch so I think your best option is Mama Melrose unless...
