    January 25th Fantasy Sailing Modified

Just out of curiosity, did Disney offer any compensation or discounts for the trouble you experienced on your cruise?

    January 25th Fantasy Sailing Modified

So, yes, this was an onboard credit from our TA. I forgot we did not use our placeholder on this cruise, as it was FL Res GTY rate. So that explains the amount, which was about $100 higher than I thought we were getting from the TA.

    January 25th Fantasy Sailing Modified

We just got off the Fantasy this morning. My biggest complaint is that we were not told anything about the technical issues, nothing. I have not seen the port fees refunded on my CC yet (we got a letter stating it was $37.40 per person for both ports combined), BUT, we did have a mysterious $150...

    Lemon Goodie on Fantasy?

Hey All! My DH is asking me to post this question: Has anyone been on the Fantasy recently that can tell us if they still serve this little lemon dessert at the Vista and Cove Cafes? We were last on the Fantasy in 2016, and hubby has been dreaming of them ever since! We board on Jan. 18th.

Grand Cayman Lunch at boat house beach bar and grill

Did you end up doing this? Is the Boat House even a real restaurant? I can't find it on a map or any reviews.

Thoughts on the 4 night San Juan to Port Canaveral?

I second the Bonine - I get very seasick and after some experimenting, this works the best for me. The trick is to start taking it at least 24 hours before you get on the boat, it makes a huge difference!

Checking Rum on Embarkation Day in Puerto Rico?

Thank you all! I think that relieves my fears of losing it altogether, and I feel better about handing it over rather than checking it (breakage).

Checking Rum on Embarkation Day in Puerto Rico?

I searched the forum but could not find an answer to this particular question. I also plan on contacting DCL, but the forums will probably give me a better answer... We are flying to Puerto Rico for the 4-day Wonder cruise from PR to Port Canaveral next month. We are spending a few days in on...

I've only ever noticed one of these rude types of passengers.

We experienced a couple of these on our Alaska cruise this past summer.... Both occurred in the Walt Disney Theater. One night we got ourselves seated and two people, a grandma and a young child came in with an armful of coats, and proceed to cover about 15 seats near the front of the theater...

Short one FP+ for new guest - Ideas?

So I went into MDE and cancelled his 10:15 FP to open up the times up through 11:20. Still nothing in the morning at all. Looked at all the available times and nothing earlier than noon. I had no idea KS was so popular!

Short one FP+ for new guest - Ideas?

Yes, that is exactly what I am doing. When I could not get a morning FP+, I booked him for the afternoon one, hoping something would open up. So I check MDE a couple times a day for just the one guest. Maybe what is hurting this effort is that we have the second FP of the day at 10:15, so if...

Short one FP+ for new guest - Ideas?

We have a upcoming trip to WDW April 26 - May 1. When we booked there were 3 of us, and we booked all of our FP+ at 60 days out. Last week, my DH decided to invite another family member along on the trip. We got him added to the resort, bought a ticket, and got our dining reservations updated. I...

    Lunch with an Imaginear?

Thanks for the bad news! I had two dates to choose from for our trip, April 28 or May 1, and both were unavailable when I started looking, so I must have just missed them. I keep looking for even 1 opening, as my DS15 is dying to go, and I would let him go by himself if I could snag a spot.

    Lunch with an Imaginear?

Does anyone know how far out they open the reservations? I started looking at the 180 day mark and nothing, and I was curious if maybe they open this up for a shorter window (like 60 or 90 days out). I know it is very difficult to snag, but so far I looked through all of February and March...

    On-Time Port-of-Call Arrival Question?

Thank you so much for the great information! It is good to know we might have a shot at getting off even 5-10 minutes early! I will follow your instructions, we have a Deck 10 aft port verandah, so we should be able to see where we need go to get off the ship. I did not realize they had exits on...

    On-Time Port-of-Call Arrival Question?

Please don't judge me for being an overplanner - I can't help it, it is who I am! We are cruising on the Disney Fantasy Aug 13-20, and our first stop will be Tortola on 8/16. I originally was planning a Disney Excursion, but after reading a few posts, many other websites, and knowing my need to...

Official Frozen at WDW Thread (Updated May 20th) FEA and RS Open June 21

Yesterday, June 21, was the last day of our trip to WDW (Magical Express pick up at 3:10pm). I was able to get FP+ for Frozen at 1:45 the day the FP option opened up. We knew it would be tight to ride Frozen and get back to the Poly by 3:00. When we got to Norway about 1:15, we could not believe...
