Our reason is not because we can't afford it. I just don't think it is all that is it cracked up to be. I've become very disappointed in it and think my money can be used elsewhere!

I think having DVC is a negative thing. Disney has changed so much and the yearly "dues" are getting ridiculous. Never mind the price now of getting there and the cost of tickets.....we are selling! Not like it used to be which is so sad. Unless you have money that you just don't have...

We've been on a waitlist for anything for that time period and there is nothing so far. I've been waiting since May. I wouldn't hold my breath!

We tried playing by the rules one year and "asked" for permission. Ummmmm, needless to say, it did not go over well!:mad: It was not excused. So, from now on, we just say they were sick. Too bad we have to do it that way now.

We have been waiting for ANYTHING for that week since June. Nothing yet. I think we won't really know anything until Oct., when the 31 day "put your points in a holding account" come up. Then maybe some people will cancel.

Don't get me wrong...I don't go to DW for the hotel service. We stay at the parks all day. I would never sell based on service. There is just a lot starting to irrtate me with Disney, but we still love going there.

I don't collect things I paid extra for as souveniers either. I just expect them to be there, especially since I've paid for the service. We have always been treated nice by everyone, it's just slow service. And.....no, we don't tip if it's something that should have been there. Now...

We have mousekeeping problems EVERYTIME we go there. We pay for the extra service and never get it. I always have to end up calling to take care of the problem. We even walked in one time and the sofa bed didn't have clean sheets on it. (I can see where that was an oversight, but still.....)...

We never tip. We ALWAYS seem to have problems during our stay. So I don't even feel bad about it anymore.

I would say not too good, especially if you wanted the holiday week. I've been waiting for over a month with several combinations.

They do not provide a seat chart.

I believe they use the same size planes for almost all of thier flights - 737's.....3 seats on both sides of the aisle.

I'm 50-50 on it. I love being "part" of Disney and having a great place to stay when we're there.....however, I really don't like the pressure of not being able to get ressies when you want them and having to be put on the waitlist. I understand nothing is guarenteed, but it is a little...

You don't have to have them, but I would just in case. I don't trust the system....due to technical difficulties in the past. If you have them, you have proof of ressies!!

Whether with new fees, higher ticket prices, or both - we are all going to pay more to fly. Dirk Yeah, so let's just all roll over and like it....(same with rising bank fees, taxes, etc.) I LOVE added fees!!!

It is called the monorail!!! The convenience of jumping right on and being able to get to MK fast is the whole thing....yes the GF and C do it too, but I love the tropical feel. It's like being in Hawaii and DW at the same time.
