On the ship in Alaska- what to wear.

Just bring a little of everything. I saw all kinds of attire for dining, incl sun dresses. The only times I remember being cold was when we were outside. Since we live in Atlanta, we don't own too much cold weather stuff (incl. pajamas) and we were fine, especially while on the ship.

    Alaska Excursions--post your reviews here!

We also did the Yukon Suspension Bridge & Klondike Explorer in Skagway. It was good. We rode in a coach bus for about 40 minutes to get to the Suspension Bridge. Again, this attraction was brand new. Our bus driver was pretty good, had lots of good info. He was young and funny. The scenery...

    Alaska Excursions--post your reviews here!

Just returned from June 18 sailing. We did the Rainforest Wildlife Sanctuary, Raptor Center and Totems. It was a little lame except that we DID SEE BEARS. We were very close to a mama and her two cubs. We sat there watching them eat grass from a raised boardwalk for a good 15 minutes with...

Welcome Home to the first Seattle-Seattle Alaska Cruise! Can't wait to hear about it!

We just got back from the June 18 sailing. We did the Tea Party. It was on Saturday at 4:00 and there was hardly anyone there but my kids liked it. If you have princess loving girls, you should do it. Ariel hosts it and gives them lessons on drinking tea and waltzing. They drink apple juice...

Welcome Home to the first Seattle-Seattle Alaska Cruise! Can't wait to hear about it!

Thanks so much to everyone who is posting questions and answers! We are on the June 18 trip and are so very excited! I'm soaking up every word that is posted today! My question is regarding footwear! We will obviously have cold weather outdoor footwear for the excursions and for hanging...

    Pregnant and Cruising

I also would get the doctor's note just in case. I had a Disney cruise booked for spring of 2008 and then later found out I was pregnant with #3. We ended up changing our reservation to move it up sooner because I would have been past 24 weeks and even though no one ever asked me anything...

Really - How Formal on the Fantasy?

The following is only my opinion. I know some people really enjoy the formal wear. I'm glad to see some fellow "casual" formal night cruisers on this thread. We are cruising the Wonder to Alaska on June 18. My dh wears a suit to work every day and then again to church on Sunday. I just...

    2 rooms - key cards?

Thanks for this question and answer. We just booked our June 2012 Alaska cruise and have this same situation. We've got a party of 10 that includes 2 sets of grandparents and want everyone to have access to our room so they can take kids back there for naps if need be. I thought I might have...

Cape May Breakfast buffet - opinions please ?

We did this breakfast this past May and had a great experience. We did have to wait quite awhile to be seated, which was a bummer with a 5 y.o. and almost 2 y.o. In my previous character meals (lots of Chef Mickey's and one Akershus princess) we never had to wait that long. We also must have...

    Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

Hi - new poster here. In May 05 we did the princess lunch at Norway. It was wonderful. We saw Cindy, Jasmine, Ariel, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty (no lie, all 5). My 4 y.o. dd still says, next time we go, we'll see Snow White, right? She just remembers that she was the only one we did not...
