I have to weigh in on this. In general I think the food is ok, not great. There is one exception, California Grill. Every dinner I have eaten there has been excellent. Otherwise, "fine dining" at Disney is a bit of an oxymoron.

We hooked up with a very nice couple through this Board who shared their MK fireworks cruise with me and my DS last Friday night. It was a beautiful evening, we shared a bottle of wine and the show was spectacular. I know most people go for the Illuminations cruise but this was pretty nice too.

We arrived in Orlando on 8/11, rented a car and got on 417S towards WDW. Got off at Orange Blossom Trail, turned right and about 1/2 mile down is a Super Target. Bought great food, fresh produce and a cooler. Wonderful store, easy access to the highway. Will always go here from now on.
