Give that girl a medal :thumbsup2

    Virgin Kids Bags.

We travelled at Easter (to Caribbean) and 31 July to Florida (before the hand baggage restrictions) and got the bags pictured in the link both times.

    Virgin atlantic

Are you within 11 months of flying? You can only do this when you are 11 months from your return date. :)

    Travelodge Gatwick

I've stayed there and it's fine - OK it's just a basic room but it's clean and has beds and a bathroom - what more do you need ;) There's a restaurant and bar downstairs if you want something to eat or drink and they run regular shuttles to the airport.

Who else loves the Dolphin/Swan resorts ?

We stayed at the Dolphin 1st week in August and loved it :thumbsup2 I'd read on these forums about requesting the mini bar to be emptied (at a charge) and asked for this on check-in. The lovely girl on the check in desk comped us a fridge without question - great for storing milk, food &...

Not everyone makes their ADR's 180 days or 90 days in advance?

Totally agree with you. :thumbsup2 We spent the 1st 3 weeks in August in Orlando (i.e. at a busy time, during which time Free Dining became effective). All the hype over ADRs made me panic when I read it and so I made ADRs for our first week - but only around 50 days before we travelled. These...

    Virgin Flights help please

Unfortunately another case of 'supply and demand' We've encountered this before at peak times. When they can sell all their seats, well in advance, at full price why bother letting them go for miles + money :confused3 Miles + money is great if you don't have kids and need to go in school...

Why do they have that fake ostrich egg on Kilimanjaro Safaris?

So you think the 'Little Red' story is real ;)

My 13 y.o. couldn't eat off kids menu at most places....

We were there last month and my son (aged 13) ate of the kids menu at Spoodles and Prime Time without any questions - I think you just had an awkward server :confused3

Is there a boat from MGM to Epcot at closing time for MGM?

You would need to take the boat from MGM to one of the Epcot resorts (eg Dolphin) and then take another boat to Epcot. However, there will be a lot of people leaving the park at that time and you could wait ages for a boat. The better way may be to walk from MGM to the Dolphin (15 mins) and then...

    Garden Grill 9/14/06

:) When we ate there last month they also had turkey - and it was delicious, really moist and with a lovely cranberry sauce.

Garden Grill or Norway Princess dinner.

We ate at both on our recent trip and really enjoyed both, but for different reasons. :confused3 Garden Grill had a really nice atmosphere - we really enjoyed having a meal where we didn't feel we were overeating and were eating freshly produced, well prepared food. We had one of the outward...

    Poster

Not sure where you're staying but I would think you're best bet would be to take it to a print-shop type place eg Kinkos-they have a branch in Lake Buena Vista (near palm parkway) - look up the name on the net. Otherwise a print-shop in somewhere like Walmart may do this for you (and certainly...

    Refillable Mug ?

If you purchase one from Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon it costs $10, refill as many times as you like during the day. You can then take it on another day to either of the waterparks but have to pay another $6 to reactivate the bar code. Still good value :thumbsup2

    Lights, Motor, Barf all over...

Hated it, watched it on a very hot humid day in August with the sweatiest, smelliest person sitting in front of me  Lots of noise and fumes, really boring, no story to it, just lots of cars racing up and down. I came away with a headache thinking I'd just wasted 30 mins of my life...

    Dining at MK

We ate at CP last month. Nice buffet and lovely characters however we were there with our kids. If I was out without kids I definitely wouldn't choose CP - it is quite hectic and is full of kids. If it was just the two of us I would do as others suggest and take the monorail to one of the resort...

:lmao: Well, I think it's the Blue Man Group - totally unique and very very funny :thumbsup2

Yummy places to eat in San Francisco?

One of our favourite ever restaurants is Helmand - An Afghan restaurant in Broadway (which is off Columbus, up towards the Chinatown end). The food is totally delicious and the restaurant is a lovely calm place with excellent service. For a fun, lively Italian try Calzones on Columbus We...

    What resorts have what views?

Some rooms at the Dolphin have a fabulous view of Epcot. We had a room last month which had a view over the Boardwalk and a partial (but still pretty good) view of Illuminations. :thumbsup2

    TTA vs. People Mover

You wouldn't enjoy it if you were stuck (for 45 mins) which happened to us a few weeks ago. No one came to 'rescue' us - just lots of announcements telling us the ride had stopped (like we didn't know :confused3 and to stay in our seats). In the end we just climbed out and found our own way out...
