    The Very Merry Un-Gangs

Ok, in the interest of full disclosure, the photographer is my (very talented) sister, but for those of you interested in Disney photography, you really must see her photos in this month's OC Weekly: http://www.ocweekly.com/2014-02-27/news/disneyland-california-adventure-social-clubs/. I...

Contemporary to TTC/Epcot while resort monorail down

I am trying to get from the Contemporary to the TTC/Epcot monorail midday next week while the resort monorail is down. Is there a shuttle from the Contemporary to the TTC? I would prefer not to take a bus to Epcot or else walk to MK and take boat launch to TTC. I could drive to Epcot, but that...

    sharing FP+?

In the past, I've always gotten legacy FPs and allowed dd11 to use hers and then mine for certain rides. Can we still do this with FP+ by simply trading our arm bands? Thanks!

Epcot evening EMH when staying off-site

Thank you to those who recognize that I am a person with good and honest intentions who merely asked a question of those whom I assumed were like-minded. I had planned to bring my daughter to Epcot for the afternoon (and yes, we have purchased valid tickets for entrance into the parks). I was...

Epcot evening EMH when staying off-site

@Connears, I am very offended by your insulting tone. I do not cheat, I do not take things that are not mine, I do not go where I am not welcome. That being said, Disney allows me to make dining reservations at the park after EMH have begun, despite the fact that I have not reserved a room at...

Epcot evening EMH when staying off-site

We're staying off-site for the first time next week and wanted to visit Epcot on a night it has evening EMH. I've read that wristbands are no longer used, but can we stay in the park for dining, shopping and fireworks after the official park closing time? Are there any ticket checkpoints other...

    Getting around on Hilton Head

Hilton Head is best explored by car and it is never "crowded." The best advice for those unfamiliar with HHI is to travel during the daylight, as nothing on the island is well-lit and the restrictions on signs means that even a national fast food chain will blend in with it surroundings. Don't...

What else to say to the characters???

As you know, Cinderella's Stepmother makes rude remarks to all of the children. When it was my daughter's turn for an autograph and picture, she very politely asked, "Ma'am, may I please have a picture with you and your beautiful daughters?" She replied, "Lovely manners child," in her droll...

    Scavenger Hunt by GOAL FABULOUS

we had the best birthday for dd7 on a Spring Break Saturday at MK -- Gifts of a Lifetime made it possible --any quesitons? Everyone is still talking about it and dd7 is still convinced only the real Tink could have made this happen!

Need ideas for a good birthday dinner for a little girl. . .

We celebrated dd7's birthday at Chefs de France on Friday and it was fabulous -- the food was perfect for her (chicken fingers and pasta -- but very good quality) and the adults enjoyed a nice meal and bottle of wine. Remy the Little Chef came out to sing her happy birthday with the wait staff...

leaving bag in bottom of stroller?

I have never had a problem leaving Maclaren strollers around and filled with ponchos, drinks, etc...: however a Dis'er posted a while back a good idea: leave a "faux" dirty diaper in the stroller or tied to a handle. given the sheer number of strollers out there, it is surely an effective...

Anyone wear "Fit-Flops" at the parks? How are they??

I've been addicted to fit flops for over a year and I'm planning to wear them at the parks later this week. I'll report back!

    Drive to MK from CBR?

Would you ever drive to the ttc if you were staying oniste? We'll be on a short trip and I get impatient ... the idea of budgeting 45 minutes each way to the MK drives me insane; however, can you travel any faster by car to ttc, then walking to the monorail/boat launch? i envision going to the...

    I hear its good but...

I would go to WDW just for the party -- yes the crowd on Main St. and the parade routes is a bit "nuts" (but extra festive with hot cocoa and fake snow falling), but after the first parade, the park clears out and it is amazing. I let my children nap in the afternoon just to stay up late and...

Remy ( ratatouile ) at Chefs de France

Thank you, DISer's for the hot tip! After 45 minutes on hold I just got 4:50 ressies for 3/20 -- its dd's 7th birthday and I'm not sure who is more excited about this, me or her... She is "over" the princess meals, so this is perfect!

    Tipping for maid service

By leaving the maid or "mousekeeper" a tip and involving my children in the process, I am teaching them to value those who do them a service -- to not overlook anyone, but to appreciate everyone -- even those who do not expect such appreciation. I could tell my children that I pay taxes and...

You Know You've "Done It All" When....

Oh, come on...you haven't done it ALL until you drag your children to the "Making of Me" in Epcot. Then it is really time to leave!

Mary Poppins Merchandise in Theme Park Stores?

We bought the child size umbrella when we saw the Broadway show last year for about $20 and I so wish that I had bought the adult size. I borrow dd's and get sooo many compliments. I hope it is available in the parks!
