    Does everyone really tip housekeeping?

I tip housekeeping in any hotel or resort I stay in for pleasure or business, Disney or non-Disney.

    Which TS for Anniversary Dinner?

Jiko is one of the top places to dine at Disney - it will always get my vote and would be a great place, maybe even a bit more intimate, to celebrate an anniversary. Enjoy!

San Angel Inn or Rose and Crown

San Angel is my favorite place for lunch at Epcot!:thumbsup2

    Polynesian vs. Contemporary

I love them both, but overall the Polynesian would get my vote. Better dining choices, better pool, walk to TTC. CR has amazing MK views however.

Moderate vs. Value??!! Don't think so.....

I stayed at CSR on a convention (Disney business is always fun!) and I encountered none of the issues that the OP did. All CSR rooms are bigger than the values as previously mentioned and the bed I slept on was very comfortable. On my stay at CSR there were a lot of families who seemed to be...

How Did You Like The AKL?

It's personally my favorite resort. Enjoy!

    Late checkout usually possible?

We've had overall good experience with requesting it - we were denied on our last two visits in 2007 and 2006, though. It's worth a phone call to the front desk to see if they'll extend you to 1 pm.

BC/BCV lovers, do you ever enjoy coffee out on those rocking chairs?

It is a popular place to sit and relax - although finding a good cup of coffee isn't the easiest thing to do (but that's another topic!). Enjoy your stay!

    Moderates vs. Deluxe

Further, most are self contained resorts (exception GF, Poly and Contemp) and all have interior hallway access to rooms and most Deluxe rooms have patios or balconies (some exceptions, notably at Poly and Beach Club).

    parking question

No charge!:thumbsup2 They'll give you a parking pass for your windshield. I'm personally also a fan of having a car onsite - I don't like to necessarily be tied to Disney's transportation. Enjoy!

    PORS or AKL

Well there is a big difference mainly in resort ammenities. AKL is a self contained resort whereas POR is a "lodge style" resort with exterior corridors. Rooms at AKL have queens and rooms at POR have doubles. The AKL pool is mammoth, but frankly not as nicely themed at POR. AKL has the best...

    Beach Club to Epcot

Indeed, as stated it's like 5 minutes. I forgot my camera at the Beach Club one morning when we were dining at the Princess Breakfast in Norway and realized it at the entrance to the park in International Gateway - I ran back to the room to get it and my wife said I was gone for 14 minutes...

    Book now or wait?

It's value season through February 13th at the Disney resorts and then peak season beginning February 14th. If you can plan your trip in those first two weeks you'll save a lot of money and you won't face near as big of crowds!:thumbsup2 Also, you might want to contact your travel agent to...

    Crazy bed question at WL

LOL, we've not stayed at WL since the rennovations to the room, but that is funny! At home we have a huge rice carved 4 poster bed and when my wife was expecting our first child I pretty much had to pull her up into the bed (she was used to getting a running start!). We ended up buying a...

    Disney tattoos?

Cool ink everyone! I've got this on my front hip just below the beltline so really only my wife and I guess guys in the locker room might see it: It's about 5 years old, and I wish now I'd gotten it in a more public place. I have two other non-Disney tattoos - an Itcthus above my right...

When returning to your Resort which entrance do you use?

Whichever has the shortest line - makes no difference to me.:)

    anyone had a free upgrade?

More often than not actually - although keep in mind your room will overlook an exterior hallway at POFQ so the view isn't "all that" given that you can't really enjoy it as you might on a balcony. That said, very smart to book a standard room at POFQ - never pay for a water view at a...

Trips Starts in 14 days and NO DOCUMENTS from TRAVEL AGENT!!

Well I am an agent and Disney "promises" documents 2 weeks out but we more often get them pretty soon after the 45 day mark for package payment due dates. DME documents often come earlier. I always deliver documents within 24 hours of receipt and if I'm mailing them out they go certified with...

    BC/YC or Dolphin

The Dolphin is in a great location - but it is very much not a Disney resort. It's lovely, but you'll feel some of the magic is missing if you're used to staying at a Disney resort. I'd personally not choose to stay there unless BC/YC/BWI weren't available.
