The food at Nicos was awesome, it is some of the freshest seafood you will ever have. It's an amazing off the beaten path find. If you can find time, go to the Liliha bakery and try the koko puffs. I would fly from the east coast just for a koko puff.

We used Blue Hawaiian. We did it on our second day on Oahu. We had a wonderful time and the views were amazing. It was a great way to get a feel for where everything was on the island.

We use Pacifico Airport Valet. Dropped off and picked up in your car(no shuttle transfer)and car is kept in a secure lot.

Nico's at pier 38, Ono Hawaiian foods,Hukilau cafe, and above all else get a coco puff( or a dozen)from the liliha bakery. We found food to be not all that expensive away from the tourist traps. Awesome places.

We're here now, and it is beautiful. My question is this , I just turned on the tv for the first time to catch the news, I don't have any of the local stations not even abc or espn. Was this the norm for anyone else? I don't want to complain while in paradise. Thanks for any info

Thanks for the replies. In the past we have always rented a car, and mostly never used it. I like the idea of the car ser for two reasons, 1- we don't have to wait for anyone ( and won't make multiple stops) and 2- I like the grocery stop feature. Thanks again,
