    Relaxing after Disney Parks

Yes, so staying at a Disney hotel probably wouldn't be a good idea. Hopefully you'll find the ideal place. It would be an impossible task for me to stay at a disney hotel and not be going to the parks. 10 more days til I'm there

    Relaxing after Disney Parks

On our trips, the words "Disney" and "Relax" just don't go together. :hyper2:

    Help!!!!

We spend the whole day in the parks from morning til closing time, we then spend some time in the village so by the time we get back to our hotel all we want to do is sleep. Staying at the more expensive hotels is just not worth it for us as we wouldn't make the most of the facilities. We've...

    Not to be missed?

How exciting for you to be going on your first DLP trip. I agree with ema74 that 4 days is plenty. I remember the first time I went... we rushed around like mad trying to do everything in the first day. Although we managed to do it all, I think it would have been more enjoyable if we had...

    How bad can it be?

Trust me....... no amount of rain will spoil your trip. There are loads of covered areas at DLP and if you buy yourself a raincoat, you won't even need to take cover. As a frequent visitor to WDW in Florida, I can promise you, you've never seen rain like it... but did it spoil our time in...

    Affordable eating tips?

I agree and I've never taken anything from the buffet to have later on..... I would do it if I was on a VERY tight budget, but I'm the sort of person who hates to carry anything, so stuffing my bag with rolls would be the last thing I would do. There is soooooooo much food left over...

Now we can really enjoy ourselves

That must have been so dissapointing for you all but I'm glad the outcome was good. I'm sure you're going to have an amazing time....... and loads of spending money too, wow. Or, you could have less spending money and go twice ! Have you been to DLP before?

Help!! Where Is Best Place To Stay??

Any Disney Hotel you stay at will have a shuttle straight to the park. It's once you get in the park that the walking starts. I'm always completely shattered after a trip to DLP, but I'm not complaining... wish I was there right now.

    Personal DLP Traditions

I love the way you put it :thumbsup2 That's exactly what we do once traditions are taken care of.

    Personal DLP Traditions

We all enter the park using seperate turnstyles and see who can be first in the park! How childish! but fun. Our traditional first ride is the Railroad. We take a round trip back to Main St and try to resist getting off at some of the lands it stops at. (we don't always make it back to Main...

Sorry its our FIRST trip so dont have a clue!!!!!!

Your daughter is a very lucky little girl :cutie: , I think she will remember her 3rd birthday for ever.... you'll have trouble topping it next year though ;) Christmas season is a good time to go, I love the feel of the place when it's all christmassy and festive. I found the...

Does anyone stock up on anything at Auchan??

I always buy loads of stuff there. Some of their Disney stuff is really nice. I got a beautiful Minnie teddy last time which I'd never seen in the parks, it was cheap too. I buy clothes, things for the home, makeup, underwear etc. Foodwise I buy Fresh fruit as there's hardly any at DLP...

Sorry its our FIRST trip so dont have a clue!!!!!!

Just agreeing with the others... If you booked Disney Express you will definitely have your park tickets before you get off the Eurostar. Either before you get on or during the journey, you will be given your tickets. Congrats on taking your first trip to DLP, you will absolutely love it...

Going tomorrow, need a bit of help planning itinerary...Can it all be done?

As it's midweek I'm sure you will manage to do everything on your list. Make sure you take a few breaks to just sit back and soak up the atmosphere as sometimes that's the best part. :cloud9: You don't want to rush around like mad and then it's all over in a flash. Hope you have a...

    Halfboard plus?

Thanks for the replies... I'm glad you mentioned the Lucky Nugget as I've never eaten there and really want to try it. I'm guessing that one voucher will cover the cost of it as it's a buffet.... If so, that's excellent value. I'm so glad there's still a bit of hope for GMF breakfast...

    Halfboard plus?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, so apologies if this has been asked before. Today I booked a trip to DLP for me and my 16 year old son. I was offered halfboard plus and it sounded like a good deal for the two of us. Unfortunately I was in such a fluster while on the phone that...

    Strokes are serious business

I wish there was someone like you around after my Dad's mini stroke! It's unbelievable that he was actually lying there in the hospital bed and was given no meds as a precaution... his stroke was caused by a clot! Argggghhhhh it's so frustrating. Anyway it's done now so we have to live with...
