Heartborken for a place you never been?

I can tell you that it will be the most incredible experience you will ever have. I grew up going every year and took it for granted. When I took the family for the first time in 2003, to see the look and my DK's and my DW's face when the castle came into view from the ferry boat was simply...

    Boma, Ohana/Chef Mickeys - Breakfast

We loved Chef Mickey's. The food is above average for a breakfast buffet, but the interaction from the characters is better than any of the other character dining that we have experienced. The kids had a blast. We are going to Ohana on this trip for the first time in 11 days and will post our...

New to board, 1st trip to WDW, and times??

We pick up the autograph books (small blue one, $6) at the first kiosk or gift shop we come to. There are one or two right at the gate of each park. We also let the kids pick out a pen that they like as well. Just make sure you get one that is kind of fat so that the characters can handle...

Any one else feel spoiled by Disney?

Completely spoiled. DW and I went to the beach last summer for our anniversary and on the 4th day jumped in the car and drove 2 1/2 hours to MK on a whim we missed it all that much(the kids were not happy when they heard). It is simply the most Magical place on Earth.

Last week of August - anyone else?

My favorite resort that we have stayed at. The kids absolutely loved it. There is so much to do there, so make time to hang around the resort. The pool is one of the best.

Has anyone Pulled a Child out of School to Go to WDW?

We go at Thanksgiving each year so the kids only miss that Monday and Tuesday, it's unexcused as far as the school system is concerned but the teachers have no problem with it they actually encourage our kids to do reports for the class about the trip most times.

Why are ADR decisions so stressful!--vent

Forget picky eaters, we have dined at 19 different Disney full service restaurants and with they exception of the Biergarten(DD hated) everyone has liked them all. My DW and DD are the two most finicky eaters on the planet and have never had a problem finding something they enjoyed. WCC is a...

    Another help me pick question

Have stayed at both CSR and SSR, we enjoyed CSR a little more because we have 2 children(DS 10 & DD 9). They loved the pools at both but complained about how few kids were at SSR as compared to CSR the exact same time the year before. Some of this may be due to location. I think being in such...
