I am booked for a 2 week vacation (8/25 thru 9/6) during the phase I opening of SWGE I usually pick these weeks due to the low crowds. Should I reschedule or maybe not plan on going to the parks as much. Or do you think most people will wait for the entire project to be done before booking?

If I stay in my DVC and have a Disney cruise booked, can I use the Disney bus to get to the port? The cruise was not booked thru DVC.

I have never had a problem getting into my room when we have arrived. The key is to avoid weekend check in. We always arrive on a weekday.

I have stayed for 3 weeks and found that it was too long. I couldn't wait to go home. The next trip we stayed for 2 weeks, still too long. I find that between 10-12 days is the perfect length to stay. I can't imagine being there for 6-8 weeks straight. Just my opinion.

We love both resorts. I have never stayed at any other except OKW and SSR. We own at SSR. We alternate staying at each that way we have the best of both.
