    Why should I buy DVC?

So the hardest rooms to come by at AKV are concierge and the two bedrooms? Which rooms are hardest to come by at other DVC resorts? I know SS built the new Treehouse Villas, and they don't have many so they are probably hard to come by. THanks in advance to those who know!!

    Why should I buy DVC?

One more question...I didn't want to post a new topic. Is it really SUPER important to buy at the resort you plan to stay at the most? I was wondering because obviously, from what I've seen Hilton Head has the lowest buy in price. But if I buy at Hilton Head and want to go to WDW, I have to...

    Why should I buy DVC?

I'm about to come into some money, and aside from friends and family, WDW brings me the most happiness in my life. I spend more time planning our trips, even though we go every year, than we actually spend on the trip. I don't imagine my love for WDW changing, if it does change it will only...

    Why should I buy DVC?

The tone of my title comes out kind of wrong, but I'm basically looking for advice. I love WDW. I travel there about once a year. Before my divorce it was my husband, my son and I. Now it's just my son and I. Although I love WDW, I can't see traveling there more than once a year...

Free dining September 2008 (sorry no pics)

Hi CDNCA, unfortunately when you make a reservation at The California Grill, they take your credit card number. If you don't show, they charge your credit card something like $25. Otherwise, I probably would have given up as well. I will try to finish my trip report soon. Thanks for reading!

    2009 Dining Plans ....

I personally believe the plus dining plan is the better deal. If I was paying for one or the other, I'd prefer the plus.

Free dining 09 question - newbie

I could be wrong, but I think the only people who hae been able to book this year so far were people who stayed there in that timeframe this year, and UKer's? I don't remember reading about Visa holders getting the offer this year for next year......

Free dining September 2008 (sorry no pics)

Well, no replies to my posts. Maybe I should introduce myself to everyone? I'm Leigh, I'm in NE PA. I went to WDW a few times growing up, then we went a few times when I was in high school. My son was worn in 1998. We took him on his first trip in 2001, and that's when I really fell in love...

Free dining September 2008 (sorry no pics)

DH's friend Bill lives in Vero Beach with his family. We had told him since we were getting a rental car we would drive out for the day. When we came down in 2006 for free dining, they spent the day in WDW with us. We gave them a free lunch and free dinner, as well as our 1 day base MYW...

Free dining September 2008 (sorry no pics)

We didn't wake up as early as I had hoped, but we never do. Disney's Hollywood Studios had EMH that morning, but we were going to skip it since we slept in. My son was really excited to ride Rock N Roller Coaster, so I said we could go to DHS and if it was packed we would just leave and go to...

Free dining September 2008 (sorry no pics)

I only took a few pics of our food, and they are not loaded onto my computer, so there won't be any on my trip report. Sorry. :sad2: Our trip consisted of me, DH 34 and DS 10. We have been to WDW a few times before and every trip just gets better and better. Day 1-Friday September...

Are all your grandparents still living?

Hi, my maternal grandmother was the best, but she passed away in 1995. :sad1: My paternal grandmother passed away August 31, 2005. My paternal grandfather followed in January 2006. I never met my maternal grandfather. He died a young age (40's) of a massive heart attack.

    $1.99 a gallon gas

$2.55 here in NE PA. We are supposed to be low cost of living! Wish we were under $2. I paid $2.05 with my Price Chopper Fuel Advantage card (they give $.10 per gallon discount for every $50.00 you spend, and you can accumulate it).

    2009 quick serve option

I think it really is a good deal. There were days our bill for a quick service lunch would have been pushing $40 or $50, that was for 3 of us (DS is 10 so counts as an adult). So you'd probably be getting over $100 of food a day. But, if you have a tight budget and will have a car, I'd so...

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I tried replying from work, I typed up a big response, and my company has a web filter, and a lot of my posts don't go through. It stinks! But anyway, yes the food court at Pop is much more diverse than All Star Sports. However, I was more...
