Kim Mulkey's Comments Post South Carolina/LSU Basketbrawl

I would agree that she is what she is; and, "when people show you who they are, believe them." I also believe that from her perspective, she probably feels she doesn't have an agenda - it's always others who do (scientists, the government, folks who are LGBTQ, sexual assault advocates or those...

Kim Mulkey's Comments Post South Carolina/LSU Basketbrawl

It was. And ... yeah, I don't even have words anymore. I guess I'm glad she's not tearing her players down - given how she treated Angel Reece at the beginning of the season, I'm surprised she seems to support her now. It's so egregious that my kids know there are two topics not to bring up or...

I LOATHE Kim Mulkey. With the fury of 1000 suns. I am so grateful for Dawn Staley's response.

    Gender Reveal parties

Just a reminder - it was the parents (and not the kids/recipients) who insisted on participation trophies

What would you do.....road rage or not?

Way back (pre-cell phones), I used to wish for some sort of text messaging where we could communicate this. Also, I've enjoyed this back and forth of trying to communicate across cars :-p

What would you do.....road rage or not?

This isn't so much an answer to your questions but what I tell lots of people - if ever in this sort of situation in a city with which you're familiar, drive to the police station. I had a road rage guy one time and I genuinely think he was going to kill me; lots of aggressive driving, nudging...

Is Ohana really that bad now?

FWIW, I had a late breakfast time and it was definitely not food that had been sitting around. YMMV

    Gender Reveal parties

TF are you even talking about? It was in reference to a specific post - but no, when I was born, there were no cakes, confetti, etc.

    Gender Reveal parties

I was definitely supposed to be XX. My mom didn't even have a XY name picked out, lol

    Gender Reveal parties

Right but gender is not the same as sex (biological) and these parties only tend to reveal what sex a child will be (gender, by definition - even out in "regularland" - reflects social and cultural differences/identities, which a newborn baby won't be demonstrating). One could make an...

what is the furthest place from your place of your birth you have ever been?

4686 miles. One thing I love is that as a kid, I lived in Southpoint, NC (wasn't born there so I didn't have it here). And then the furthest place I've been is the South Point complex near Kalae, HI.

    I HATE BUGS!!!

I'd give anything to get rid of the ladybugs that invade my house. It doesn't bother me - but it bothers the kids (and it brings up some bug shame from childhood, lol)

Speaking of Airline Etiquette - a story from last week

You could've shared the same story without the body-shaming parts. It doesn't really add much to the story - and it sucks (and makes you look bad).

    Lone parent trip

I will say that I also had that sort of - I'm going to be the only adult here in case something arises - moment (though I had gone more and felt like I had a decent handle on things because of that ... except that going as a solo adult and even as a parent with another parent are VERY different...
