My DH and I are both running Dopey so expecting to spend quite a bit. But after seeing that preview, I’m not so sure anymore.

My husband likes having a car so we are renting. We are staying at Saratoga springs so the closest guest services is downtown Disney and that place tends to be a madhouse. It is an option though if it saves me money.

Is there a DVC discount on race merchandise at the expo? I know you can get an AP discount but my AP is a renewal and I’m going to the expo straight from the airport so I won’t have a new passholder card. My passholder card from last time says valid 2016-2017.

That might be a better idea. If I booked online 5 nights from august 24-29 at somewhere beside my home resort, I could call on January 24 to purchase those points and add the last 2 days (august 30 and 31), right? I wouldn't need to wait until January 30?

My husband and I are doing the Dopey during Marathon Weekend in 2018. It will just be the 2 of us and SSR is our home resort. We will only have 37 points left for 2017 (October use year) and instead of borrowing from 2018 (since that will make us short on points for our summer 2018 trip)...

Decided to do the Dopey! My parents said they would stay at home with the kids for us, so this was almost a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We have never been away from the kids so thought we'd go big!
