    O'Hana or Kona??

If it's just two adults, I would choose Kona. We ate at both last week and both times with two kids under five. Ohana is louder and served "family-style" which makes it a little more casual. Kona had fewer children and had a bit more of an upscale atmosphere. The food at both was delicious...

    San Angel Inn...recommendatations

I ate there Monday for lunch. Had the ceviche for an appetizer. It was a delicious seafood dish. Then, enjoyed the Mexican salad. My husband had the corn chowder and fish tacos--liked both.

    Transportation times from Poly

Just got back from the Poly Tuesday. The bus process was fine. We went to MGM one day and waited maybe 5 min. at the stop and then the ride was pretty quick--including the stop at GF, it was not much more than 15 min. The day we went to AK, we waited about 2 min. at the stop, but the ride was...

Help me decide which long house at POLY...please!

I requested a patio on the quiet pool side of either Tokelau, Samoa or Rarotonga. When we got there, they had us in a balcony room. It was no big deal switching to patio, we just had to wait a few hours. There was only one sink..........

If you had to pick MGM or AK with 2 y/o?

Just got back Tuesday. My 2 yr old son seemed to like MGM better than AK. My 4 yr old daughter definitely liked MGM better. Aside from the Lion King show and the safari ride, they seemed bored and fidgety and were not really into looking for the animals. At MGM they saw lots of characters...

My Ds14 Has A Question About San Angel Inn

We ate there Monday for lunch and they were very nice about making a "custom-ordered" quesadilla for my daughter. If you are specific, they'll probably be able to keep things simple for your son's meal.

    Pinocchio Village Haus

We ate here this past week. It was chosen mainly because we were right in that area of Fantasyland. I thought the antipasto salad was only OK. The Italian wedding soup was very good as was the cannoli. My kids got the PB & J, which turned out to be those packaged "Crustable" sandwiches.

Help me decide which long house at POLY...please!

We just got back Tuesday after a stay at the Poly. We were in Tokelau on the quiet pool side down on the lagoon end. We loved the location. It was only two minutes to the GCH and volcano pool. We thought it was private and quiet. We had requested a patio and it worked out well with a 2yr...

    Polynesian--Captain Cook's Question!

Thanks for all the great info! It sounds like it will work out to get quick, but fairly substantial breakfasts on our way out the door to the parks. Is it possible to bring the food from CC's back to our room?

    Polynesian--Captain Cook's Question!

Thanks for the answers. I guess I'll just hope that the menu on the wdwinfo site with just cereal was a misprint!

    Polynesian--Captain Cook's Question!

I'm having trouble getting an answer in the Restaurant forum so I thought I'd try here. The Wdwinfo site shows a menu (updated in February?) with breakfast offerings at Captain Cook's as limited to cereals. The breakfast menu on allears and tikiman shows hot breakfast choices, such as Tonga...

Change in Breakfast at Captain Cook's?

So, does that mean the breakfast menu has been changed?

Change in Breakfast at Captain Cook's?

Anyone? Anyone? Thanks. We're trying to figure out our budget and "schedule" so I'm very curious.

Change in Breakfast at Captain Cook's?

If anyone has stayed at the Poly recently, maybe you can clear up this question I have. The wdwinfo.com site shows a menu, revised in February, with no real hot food items at Captain Cook's for breakfast--only cold cereal and oatmeal. The Tikiman site and Allears both show the old menu with...

Advice or Strategies for Sleeping Toddler?

Thanks for the help. The pack-n-play is not a great option because my son will definitely climb out. I have a feeling the portable cribs are probably smaller than standard ones, so bringing my crib tent might not work. Maybe I'll take the suggestion of having DS2 sleep with my husband or I...

Advice or Strategies for Sleeping Toddler?

We will be staying at the Poly this Spring and have two small children. As far as I know we'll have two double (or queen?) beds as well as a daybed. I'll also be requesting a crib (which I think is only a pack-n-play). DH and I can either sleep together or in separate beds. DD4 can sleep in...

    Credits when using Bulk Air?

We booked our May '07 trip last summer. At the time, Delta flights were about $313 from Hartford to Orlando, and everyone predicted fares would rise due to fuel costs. Our AAA agent got us bulk airfare through Disney for about $270 pp. so we booked air as part of our package. I've recently...

    CRT lunch

I hit the 180 day mark last week and made most of our table service reservations. I called at 6:59:50 a.m. and was able to get a lunch ressie at CRT for the day I wanted at the time I wanted. A few minutes passed from the time my call connected to the time she was giving me the CRT...
