I don't know if this has been posted on here before, but I saw it on another board, and I thought that many here would like to see it.
Interesting Day on Rainbow Bridge
Rainbow Bridge is a place of both peace and anticipation as departed pets await their beloved owners. There are plenty...
If you like to read, get "Horse Heaven" a novel by Jane Smiley. It's a wonderful book, and one of the main characters is a Jack Russell named Eileen. She's a hoot! A typical JR, and Ms. Smiley really gets inside her head.
I'm going to Disney in September, solo for the first week, then my sister is coming down to join me for the next four days. We booked two separate packages to do this, and I was able to pay off the first package in full yesterday!!! :cheer2: :Pinkbounc  What a wonderful...
I sleep just fine at night because I'm working three jobs (one FT, two PT) in order to pay for my trip, and at the end of the day my biggest problem is staying awake long enough to make it to the bed. The free dining is what's making it possible for me to go at all.
My intentions are to have a...
I will be at WDW in mid September, and I'm just thinking that if I ever have to experience a hurricane, there is absolutely no place on earth I would rather be when it happens. :cool1:
I just booked my trip last weekend and put down my deposit for a week in September :yay: I'll be scrimping and saving every cent I can to pay it off by the end of July. What a great feeling that will be to know everything's paid for before I even get there.
Have a Blast party:
I agree with mickeymousemom, some people just apparantly feel the need to rain on another's parade. Write however you want.
Having said that, I have to admit that I'm kind of an old fogey, and alot of the abbreviations are hard for me to wrap my brain around. But that's MY problem...you just go...
FRANKENSTEIN SALAD???:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I don't know why that struck me as so hysterical, but it's your fault that I blew coffee out of my nose!
I love Lion King, and I think Lady and the Tramp of the old classics, although I loved them all, and I'm not sure if it belongs here because it's only partly animated, and I guess, not PC,but I did as a child, and still do adore Song of the South
It's almost like starting my trip early. Thank you all for a warm welcome.
I'd be embarrassed to tell you how much time I've spent on this site since joining two days ago
Now I'm thinking of extending my stay for an extra weekend if I can talk my DS into joining me with her family...
Will be at the POP September 8-15, for sure, but will extend my stay til the 18th if I can talk my sister and her family into joining me for the extra days. I hope they do! party:
That sounds like fun. I'm going solo this time, and although I'll be recieving a suggested itinerary from DU, I plan to use it as a guideline only, and will be totally footloose and fancy free as to my time. So let's stay in touch and set up a time and place as the trip gets closer.
Got the free dining also, this will be my second time on site, first was about ten years ago at Fort Wilderness Cabin. It was wonderful.
My sister, her partner and their two kids were there this past weekend and had a great time. I drove them to and from the airport, and was just obsessing all...
Just made the reservations yesterday for POP. I am really excited about this trip :Pinkbounc Also brand new to this site, which I'm already addicted to. Now if I could only figure out how to get a trip counter thingy in my signature :confused3
My sister heard about this site from a woman who was on the plane with her on her way to WDW, and told me about it. I'm going to WDW in Sept....can't wait! This is a great site!
