After cruise, can you just get on bus without reservation?

I think the code is "AP" for "airport to port" and "PA" for "port to airport" -- at least that has been a consistent code on my KTTW for my cruises

Booking window opening soon (much excitement)- but what time in UK?!

midnight "eastern" -- "eastern" is currently 4 hours behind UTC (when we go off "daylight savings", we would be 5 hours behind UTC). I *think* UK summer time is 1 hour ahead of UTC so that would mean you are 5 hours ahead of "eastern" and your window would open at 5am local

    Re-assigning rooms

Our family will be crusing DCL again in 2013. We plan to be in two cabins -- myself and DW in one, DS1 (22) and DS2 (20) in the other. DW and I are "gold", so I think we want to be the primary for each cabin -- so reservations will have myself and DS1 in one cabin; DW and DS2 in the other...

Notorized letter for minors traveling w/ one parent

I think you should be fine -- the DCL forms are only concerned with minors traveling with NO parent.

How do i renew a passport-what is needed and how long?

as has been mentioned -- timing is up to you -- all of the passports are valid for your May, 2011 cruise, so that pressure is off. As far as your 15-year old. I would wait until she turns 16, so she can get an adult passport. I believe the "first" adult passport (even if the applicant had...

100 Days of Magic ... or Misery?

so, a bit of wishful thinking ... what if DCL offers a 100-day around-the-world cruise at a price and a time that DW and I would be able to go. Sounds magical ... but then I started thinking ... how soon before a 250 square foot stateroom (with verandah) gets claustrophoic? how soon...

    Bring back rice krispie treats/cookies?

I don't know the *official* answer here ... but, I will observe that the "amnesty table" at debarkation had examples of fresh fruit (reminding folks to leave fresh fruit at that point or risk penalties), but do not recall seeing samples of unwrapped cookies or rice krispie treats

    Thought I Paid In Full

while DCL will not be able to tell you if you are paid in full (since you've booked with a travel agent), a *friendly* agent may answer the question "when can I book excursions?" -- since you can't book excursions unless you are paid in full, you get the answer to the question you can't ask.

    Surprises?

there are lots of little surprises to discover -- part of the "magic" and "wonder" is stumbling on something totally unexpected.

    quick service food options?

one sure way to get to know the Teen counselors -- order a whole pizza and bring it back to Stack/Aloft (the counselors can't ask, but they can share if you ask them if they would like some)

    Turn Down Service

getting back to the original question -- yes, the "every night" turn down service (with chocolates and a towel animal) is included in the cruise fare. there is a romantic upgrade -- can't remember all of the details (rose petals, champagne, robes to keep) -- that you can order online (I think...

    Prescription snorkel mask

just something else to consider ... underwater, object appear magnified (or, put another way, closer) -- so if you are just mildly near slighted, you may be just fine with a regular mask.

St. Thomas/St. John - Scuba Diving, through Disney approved excursions - Any Feedback

I've taken the DCL Scuba excursion on St. Thomas -- can't remember the vendor they used at the time, perhaps Underwater Safari -- nice operation. I was very happy with the experience. One thing to keep in mind -- the DCL Scuba experiences are designed for folks who do not dive regularly...
