I would say Boardwalk....to me BLT is like a Hilton not a very Disney like hotel (IMO) but the walk to MK is nice.

    Which dining plan or none?

We're going in May and I have been fighting with myself on "to dinning plan or to not dining plan". I am a DVC member so we get a 10% discount at a lot of restaurants but still not sure which way is more economical. 5 people going....ages 43, 34, 19, 16 and 12. I just wish there was a clear...

    To dine or not...

My oldest can definitely eat and I enjoy eating decent/good meals when I am on vacation! I guess I can try it this time and if it doesn't work out scratch it for the next visit.

    Disney Cruise....

Feel free to call me crazy (I may be) but is it possible that a Disney Cruise could "cost me" less money than going to Disney World? If we didn't do a lot of excursions.... Since I can drive to New York (no air fare) and no park tickets? I'm pretty sure I have enough points.... I'm getting...

    Disney Cruise....

Thank your for your information....I am a single dad with three kids and trying to figure out how much a cruise may cost. I have 2-years worth of points saved (550 points) plus I can borrow so I am not worried about the points. I live in Pa so I can drive to NY for the 8-day Bahama...

    Saratoga & kids

The biggest difference I noticed between OKW and SSR was the overall rooms. The rooms at SSR were much cleaner than OKW....probably since they are newer! We have stayed at OKW 3 times and SSR 1 time.....I am done with OKW for a bit, it is nice but so is change! Try to get a room with a view of...

Christmas 2008 to go or not to go.....

Hello, I am looking for some good honest feedback concerning a trip to Disney for Christmas of 2008. My wife would like to go from the the 19th to the 26th, we have 3 kids 14, 12, 8. Okw 5-11/5-18

We stayed at OKW in Building 37 (3712 to be exact). This was our second stay at OKW, we own at SSR. I was not happy with the room, kind of dirty and my wife killed 2 cockroaches, one was VERY large. The airconditioning was not working very well and water was leaking out of the "locked closet" in...

Old Key West Vs. Saratoga Springs

We stayed at OKW in May of 06' and SSR in Oct of 06'...we are going back on May 11th of 07' we will be staying at OKW. We are a familiy of 5 and I really don't think the room size is that big of a deal. They both had plenty of room for all of us. The problem we had at SSR was the busses. We...
