Just booked this and trying to get up to speed on requirements / what differs onboard now vs before the pandemic. Been 5 years since I've been on a cruise and 9 years since DCL. I likewise have a guaranteed stateroom w verandah.

I've done this as well, but it has been a decade. Do the rental car companies still offer free pick up / drop off from the Disney Cruise terminal? I currently have a reservation with Alamo after disembarkation and totally forget how I arranged a ride to the agency.

lol - yeah the Clarion is my 'convenient' one... the cheaper one is a bit down the street. The DL hotel(s) are certainly nice, but if you think you'll want to change costumes during the day then the DL hotels would be more of a hassle than the Sheraton/Hilton/Clarion. We are all very excited...

For Friday's Mark Hamill show, they let standby in very quickly - I'd say within 3 minutes. I was not that far from the front of the FP+ line (under the tree closest to the door) and standby was already running into the theater before I was scanned in. They did pre-scan us about 10 minutes...
