I'm going to cruise RCI for the first time in 4 weeks. Did some resaerch myself already... In the MDR and buffet the soda isn't included and you can buy it by the can or get a drink package. From what i understood is that if you have the same servers you don't need to show your card every time...

We aleays take them with us. The reason for a passport ( for US residents) is that they can travel in case of an emergancy.... If you get injured during a excursion and/or miss the boat you need that passport fot traveling back to the US....

It's in my opinion pretty simple. Why do you want a passport?? Why a passport and not only a original birth certificate?? Answer: because you want to be safe in case of an emergancy... You get the passport so that you can go back or stay longer and go back later in case of an emergancy. Then...
