I have an annual pass but no one else in my party does, can I purchase a 1day MYW for myself and the others for the free dining pkg and then purchase a 7 day ticket for the others for the remainder of the stay? How would I make it work? Thanks

We always pull ours out of school. Its so much more enjoyable and since they are all A/B students their grades dont suffer. We're going 8/30-9/8 so we get 9 days and they only miss 5 days of school. BTW...I live in the same area as you...I probably live within 20 miles or so...

:) I have seen others post that they have gotten FD at Pop directly through Disney since you made your post. Do you have the option of cancelling your AAA and calling Disney to book? I know generally speaking there are only a certain number of rooms allotted to the Travel agents as well...

You are only charged an automatic 18% if there is 6 or more in the party, regardless of dining plan or not. And infants do not count towards the 6 in the party. I confirmed this with Disney a few weeks ago as I was making our ressies for Sept dining. I agree that it shouldnt be automatic...
