Well, that's a little better I guess. We have never been "be there at the park opening" types, but I thought August was pretty crowded, so I plan to strongarm my family to get there as early as practical. Good thing they have coffee in the room!

I've been to WDW several times, but never during a holiday. The UG advises arrival at MK 50 minutes before scheduled opening. So if scheduled opening is 8am, & EMH is at 7am, then that means 6am?! Will I be the only one there? Will I be waiting a whole hour to get in?

Warning - you can only purchase the DDE card M-F. I arrived on a Friday, didn't check on the card until Friday evening, & had to wait until Monday. At least this is what I was told when I presented my AP voucher at international gateway in Epcot & tried to buy DDE card at the same time.

I think the golf carts run around 45$ a day, which is a little spendy for us. Cheaper to rent a car. The benefit, though, of the golf carts is: 1) you can park it at the marina & take the boat to WL or MK 2) you can park it at the main outpost & access WDW bus transportation directly...
