Activities at WL during rainy days?

I agree..you can do the scavenger hunt, my kids liked that. There's always the Arcade..it's small and you'll have to cough up some quarters though. We always just throw on some flip flops, rain wear and head out to the parks or Downtown Disney anyway. We saw Narnia on an especially bad...

The Wilderness Lodge FAQ (Part 6) Simbas and Tiggers and Humphreys OH MY!

I was at the WL during Hurricane Frances in 2005 or maybe it was 2004, they had a ton of games going on in the lobby. Everything from "four corners" to entertainment like African singers, some lady making some kind of birds out of paper, and other kinds of crafts the kids could do, and coloring...

The Wilderness Lodge FAQ (Part 6) Simbas and Tiggers and Humphreys OH MY!

Hi everyone..it's been quite a while..but pretty soon I can officially say "next month we will be at WL" :cool1: I do have a question..I have late lunch ressies at WCC (2:30pm)..so that we can have a big meal right before we go and then plan on going up to our room to change into costumes and...

Is anyone else having problems with IPO??

Wilderness Lodge..and I've never had this kind of service from IPO there before. I really would prefer not to downgrade because the ressies are only a portion of what I like about CL..I like the quietness of the level at the WL..there is nothing like sitting out in that lobby, around the...

Is anyone else having problems with IPO??

I am so aggravated..today marks my 180 day mark and I have emailed IPO 3 times and twice called them (had to leave message both times because once they were closed and the other time all lines were "busy" ) and haven't heard a single word from them AT ALL since I made my ressie  And then...

What time do they serve lunch/dinner at WCC?

Hi everyone..just trying to figure out if a late lunch or early dinner is better at WCC prior to MNSSHP (we will be staying at WL..but meeting family for a meal prior). Does anyone know what time they serve lunch and dinner from? Thanks.

    Best Pool for Girl's

If I were stricly going by best pool I would choose the Yacht/Beach club.

WL Woods view or courtyard view?

Well..with a woods view if you want the "MK" view..then you'd have to request the north wing and a higher floor, or you won't see anything, and that is the only way I would prefer a woodsview over the courtyard. With a courtyard though you know you will get a decent view..so I would request that :)

    Wilderness Lodge Rooms

I've traveled to the WL with myself, DH and DD's since they were 5 and 7..strollers and all. They are now 12 and 14..I've never felt cramped there..but we don't spend an enormous amount of time in the room. The place is just too beautiful to spend that much time in there..the pool, the lobby...

The Wilderness Lodge FAQ (Part 6) Simbas and Tiggers and Humphreys OH MY!

Hi Everyone!!! :yay: It's been quite a while since I posted..very busy with school..but I am almost done!! While we won't make it to the WL this year, because of some other home improvement issues we would like to take care of, we are planning at 2 week vacation the last two weeks...

The NEW WL FAQ (Part 5) Simbas and Tiggers and Humphreys OH MY! Part 2

Hi everyone!! It's been a while, I have been very busy with school. Tentatively we are planning on visiting the WL next December..haven't been at Christmastime in a few years and it's truly our favorite time to be there. Of course, I've been spoiled by the CL and really missed it when we...

The NEW WL FAQ (Part 5) Simbas and Tiggers and Humphreys OH MY! Part 2

The bunks railings are definitely high enough, my girls have been sleeping in them since they were 5 and 7...but I believe the bunks are not recommended for children 5 and under. There's a sign on the bed that says so.

    Help me....which resort??

I wouldn't count on a promotional thing like free dining. Book what you can afford and if a rate comes out, then maybe you can upgrade. Remember, the standard rooms at the WL are not all that much more $ than Coronado. If you have AAA you can book WL, or any other resort for that matter, now...

    WL - room location requests

Yes..you definitely want an "inner" courtyard. I have heard some guests say that if they stay inner courtyard in the south wing they were able to see some of the highest fireworks over the roof of the north wing. I don't know how good of a view that is, but I wouldn't count on really being...

The NEW WL FAQ (Part 5) Simbas and Tiggers and Humphreys OH MY! Part 2

Hi everyone..we just got back from our trip to the Poly..and missed the WL SO much!!! We went over to visit though :) I don't think we'll try a different resort again unless it's an absolute "take it or don't go" type thing, as it was this time. As for your questions, you can see the MK...
