    Disabled parking confusion

Dear All, I have seen many comments on forums regarding the need for disabled parking facilities when available and that the UK/EU disabled badge is now not recognised in Florida, hence the need to apply for a temporary parking permit. Whilst searching for the form (which I have found). I...

When does the cost of Disney stop it being magical

I understand your feelings. My DW DD's went for the first time in 96 and fell in love with the whole experience and financially it was not such a drain. We continued to visit for years to come, but have noticed how expensive the experience now is effectively excluding those on limited budgets...

When does the cost of Disney stop it being magical

I was asking for other peoples opinions, not my own, your answer does not help in this query, other than advice on other parks, which is not what I asked

When does the cost of Disney stop it being magical

With the ever increasing cost of visiting Disney especially with Disney's latest price hike with "New Seasonally-Priced Multi-Day Tickets" and not everyone having limitless funds at what point did you or would you decide enough is enough.

Virgin now much too expensive - would love to know why

Would be unable to do so at present as only BA has published prices for those dates, will have to wait a few more weeks before I could do so

Virgin now much too expensive - would love to know why

Likewise, flew Upperclass with VA in 2011 and my wife experienced exactly the same and had to manually convert the seat to a bed.

    Virgin Flying Club Changes Ahead

I am reasonably flexible and am flying September - October 2017 but despite at least 10 different combinations which included dates just released, the Virgin booking site stated there was no availability but conversely, no alternative dates offered as the BA site does. This left me completely in...

Virgin now much too expensive - would love to know why

That is a matter of opinion. I have flown with Virgin since 1998 but due to the greed of the company I flew with BA in 2015 and was very pleasantly surprised.

Virgin now much too expensive - would love to know why

At this moment in time cannot as unlike BA, Virgin Atlantic has not released prices for the dates stated. But to some degree you are correct as Virgin add a massive premium for the car hire element, much more than if the car is booked direct though Alamo

Virgin now much too expensive - would love to know why

I am finding Virgin very expensive compared to BA these days and cannot warrant flying with them anymore . For example comparing identical Economy fly drives for 2 adults with full-size car and all inclusive insurance flying out 21.10.2017 returning 02.11.2017 with direct flights Virgin vs27...

Do you ever feel disadvantaged being a UK DVC'er

That is probably why UK DVC members do not have issues generally. I have never been in July, August always Oct, Nov Mar Apr and May and have rarely been able to book in the 7 month window and that has been since 2004. But my point still stands in respect of holding a few rooms for 7 day windows...

Do you ever feel disadvantaged being a UK DVC'er

I stand corrected then in this case as I thought this was the choice season which is the second cheapest period to go. That being the case where did you get the info on when there is peak demand as it would be handy for me for future reference

Do you ever feel disadvantaged being a UK DVC'er

Hi with respect, this is not peak time in the US as far as I am aware other than Veterans Day on the 11thand it is not Thanksgiving until the 23rd when I know it is busy, likewise in the UK, kids are back at school.

Latest RCI deal for the UK, who are they kidding!

Interesting new sale offered on the 1st Feb, free drinks package and up to $400 on board spend, unfortunately the prices of each cruise I have been monitoring for the Caribbean in November have rocketed. 24th Jan I saw : 7 night cruise on 8th Nov Freedom of the Seas starting at £498.50 per...

Do you ever feel disadvantaged being a UK DVC'er

Food for thought, I have booked flights 7th November for two weeks and was thinking of a cruise from the 14th however even though I am two months out from the 7 month window, only SSR (my home), OKW and AKL have availability, all other resorts are either not available or have partial for the 7th...

    Wishes vs Illuminations Cruise

For the Illuminations you are picked up at the Beach Club and transported to beneath the bridge between France and England, you do get a very good view, but can cramped to some degree between other pontoon boats. Personally I prefer the Wishes option which you can pick up from GF. They are...

Transfer money to Suntrust bank account

Hi I am fortunate to have the Paypal facility which you speak of and use this method exclusively, however this is effectively a legacy as Paypal withdrew this facility for Brits who did not already have accounts registered but they are apparently re-introducing it. It might be worthwhile...
