Anyone there now that can comment on FP enforcement

Then great, we could go back to the policy of last 10 years and you can still enjoy your vacation and so can I. I think we just solved the problem.

It is a big deal. It's could potentially amount a fair reduction in rides that we would prefer to ride for us throughout the course of a normal day. It's the inconvenience/stress of having to think about it. I can't get a fastpass during a parade or dinner time. I can't ride the monorail over to...

Anyone there now that can comment on FP enforcement

The world came to an end on March 7th when they started enforcing the end time. Otherwise, yes - they used to let you relax and enjoy your vacation.

You are correct... I adjusted by canceling my Spring Break trip to WDW and will be traveling to Cooperstown, NY to the Baseball Hall of Fame instead.

??? Using your logic, the people had the same opportunity to grab the fastpass. They just needed to plan better. I will still be grabbing them ... just trading for more convenient times. I had to plan before. I planned which park to visit on which day. I planned to be at the park at...

Anyone there now that can comment on FP enforcement

No - with late FP's the family directly involved could get and still use the FP and it was a benefit to them. Now according to you, they can choose not to get it (Benefits who?) or pull it but not use it (Benefits who?)... in either case, not the family directly involved. Before, I didn't...

Win/Win for everyone except person the person/family directly involved.

Again... one less thing we are now able to do at the park. If you do not take the fastpass, then you are choosing not to ride (or at least the number of times you ride the attraction). Whereas before, you took the fastpass at the time and were then able to come back a little later and still...

FP - allowed returns later than 1, 2 or more hours??

No - has nothing to do with the end of your window. Correct Correct

FP - allowed returns later than 1, 2 or more hours??

In 2003, they were not enforcing the end time either.

FP - allowed returns later than 1, 2 or more hours??

No chance! They may have experienced everything they were choosing to experience, but in no way were they able to do just as much (with anything involving a FP anyway) You are correct. I am monitoring this situation very closely as it definitely decreases the quality of experience in the...

FP - allowed returns later than 1, 2 or more hours??

No doubt... better not make any ADR's now... or try to get to a good spot to watch the parade... or wait in line for a ride for any length of time ... or wait in line for a character. Oh wait, just don't grab a fastpass is the simple answer. I love driving 17 hours... staying for a week... and...

    How about FastPass trading stations?

We did the same... but no more, only Disney is allowed to make your dreams come true ... in one hour intervals and don't be late

tomorrow is D day for FP

So if you were charged double for your vacation you wouldn't have a problem with it? Not being able to spread out the day with fastpasses and being able to relax and enjoy your day not worrying about a fastpass window as they can overlap greatly especially around parades, dinners, characters...

    Ultimate fast pass

OK- technically you would be correct. However, an extremely small handful of people out of 30,000+ guests on a given day do not influence any of the fastpass times.

    Ultimate fast pass

... and as a result, I have not been to Universal since 2003 which includes about 15 trips to Orlando. I choose WDW as everyone has similar access once entering the parks. This appears to be changing in the near future which means I will again be looking elsewhere to vacation.

tomorrow is D day for FP

Being able to only do 1/2 as much for rides at the parks ... yes, that would be ruining my vacation and enough to pick other destinations.

tomorrow is D day for FP

Let me start with I DO have a problem with the strict enforcement. I have already sent my complaint to WDW... to I'm sure be answered with a standard politically correct that is vague sometime in the next 24-48 hours. There are too many reasons why this is not a good thing. First, many people...

How is the M&G with Rapunzel now?

There have been several threads regarding this. To sum them up... The lines are still long. They cut out the coloring and now just hand out the sheet and crayons at the end. She comes out and dances with the kids for a minute and then does the normal meet and greet. Everyone is encouraged...
