Not an expert by any means, but the times we jumped in line, there was no "extra" queue space being used. By extra, I mean the queue that leaves the built in waiting areas and ropes are set up for overflow.

My son and I did ROTR (for the very first time) twice in a row standby at the end of the night last night (12/29). We saw standby drop to about an hour (probably because it was raining) and hopped in line. Took 45 to finish the ride. We jumped back in standby 4 min before it closed for the night...

Dec 28-Jan 1 for the DS and I at the Candy Cane Inn. We rescheduled our June trip—a celebration of his HS graduation. We’ve never been to Disney during the holiday period. Looking forward to a new Disneyland experience!

I rescheduled my trip to December. My son and I were going in June to celebrate his HS graduation (which is also not happening). Bummer all around, but in the big picture this is just an inconvenience. Not a disaster.

Saved another $50 on my flight (2 tickets) tonight. As a previous poster said, it's a good idea to check daily!

Wow! I'll save over $250 on 4 adult and 1 child 5 day hoppers over the DL website (not that I was not going to buy from anyway). That's crazy!

Is there tax on the tickets? I keep expecting to see the taxes/fees line to change from it's current reading of $0. I'm to the part where I have to enter credit card info and I'm not ready to do that yet, but still need to see if tax is added at the final step.

What Disney related YouTube channel(s) do you subscribe to for a Disney fix? I like Freshbaked. They post an 8-10 minute (often more than one) video every day. Helps me scratch my Disney itch. What channels do you like? Maybe I'll find another one (or more) to subscribe to!

I don't care what other people spend (or don't) while in the park or to get and stay there. It's my choice to spend the money to take my family to DL. It will obviously cost me more than a local. Who cares? I've never had any problem with locals. In fact, I don't know if I've ever met one...
