    May 2, 2009~~~Magical MAYniacs!~~~ 7 day Western....Updated, April 3,2009!!

I'm sorry your car was hit! Both my kids and my husband & I have had very bad colds. In fact, I had to bring my 9 month old to the emergency room for his shallow breathing. He is getting better, thank God. Now, if only the rest of us would recover!

Parents of young children, please help!

Thanks for the input! We went ahead & booked 2 adjoining cat 7's. Hopefully we'll be able to afford it by the time our cruise rolls around!

Parents of young children, please help!

What would you do? Traveling with a 4 year old & 1 year old. Should we book one category 4 (304 sq. ft. incl. balcony) or 2 connecting category 9 (214 sq. ft. each for total 418 sq. ft. with portholes, no balcony on 1st level - still above water but as low as you can go)? It's...

    May 2, 2009~~~Magical MAYniacs!~~~ 7 day Western....Updated, April 3,2009!!

Hi there- I just got back from an 8-day cruise on Carnival to the Mexican Riviera. Went with my 3 & 1/2 y-o DD, 9 mo DS, DH & friends with their 3 & 1/2 y-o son. When we left the Disney boat last year our DD cried that she had to leave. On this trip she kept asking when we could go home...

Any information about Flounder's Reef Nursery

My DD was nearly 2 & 1/2 when we sailed the Med. We booked a private tour in Rome, which allowed us to hop in & out of an air conditioned car to see the sights. It was nice, but hardly any way to get a feel for the city. My DD & I were supposed to go with DH for a private tour of the Vatican...

Wow! Three little ones! U are my new inspiration for believing we can do the med with 2 little ones! :)

Is Disney smoking crack or what???

I priced out Carnival (suite) for a similar Med cruise (deluxe family with verrrandah) & they were only about $1000 less than Disney. The Carnival suite is a bit smaller (I believe) than the deluxe family with verrandah on Disney. Plus, Carnival offers no privacy curtain. We will have a 2 y-o...

Taking a long Med cruise with a baby. Is it possible???

Bring the baby & go for it! You will not want to leave the baby for that long! We took our then 2 & 1/2 y-o daughter with us on the DCL 10-day Med cruise & a couple days b4 & after in Barcelona (14 days total). We booked mostly half-day excursions or booked private tours (can't afford that...

Any information about Flounder's Reef Nursery

Flounders is fabulous! We had some trepidations about it b/c our daughter at the time of sailing was nearly 2 & 1/2. I thought she would be bored since Flounders is for "babies." However, she had a great time! There is a huge window where you can look in on your child but they can't see out...

    May 2, 2009~~~Magical MAYniacs!~~~ 7 day Western....Updated, April 3,2009!!

Are any of you planning (hoping?) to schedule a DCL cruise in Europe in 2010? They are going to the Mediterranean again with 3 new ports (Tunisia, Malta & Corsica), doing 12-night cruises in Northern Europe & also have a couple shorter cruises getting from South to North & back - and of course...

Why the big deal about the Baltics?

I'm so glad to see that someone braved the Med with TWO little ones & enjoyed it! We went with our then 2 & 1/2 y-o daughter & had a FABULOUS time! We are hoping to do the Med cruise again in 2010 when our children will be 5 & 2. I am thinking we may be nuts but it really is the ONLY way to...

What Disney rides are OK for a baby?

Really? Could we do Dumbo with a small baby? I took DD on it on her 1st b-day but our little guy can't sit up by himself yet. And the dark rides too? That would be great if we had more ride options, although we had fun visiting the less popular rides - we just avoided anything that had a...

What Disney rides are OK for a baby?

For a little baby, I mean. Age 5 mos - 1 year. We went on an impromptu day trip to Disneyland this past weekend 7 bought a SoCal annual pass so we will have to go  at least 2 more times during the next year to make it worth the extra cost. We took our 3-y-o plus our baby (age 5...

    May 2, 2009~~~Magical MAYniacs!~~~ 7 day Western....Updated, April 3,2009!!

Guess where we were yesterday? Disneyland! We live in San Diego & were planning to take the kids to Legoland (yawn), which is about 30 minutes North of us. But both kids fell asleep in the car on the way there, so we decided to let them sleep & drove to Disney instead! We bought Southern CA...
