    Cabins - Fort Wilderness

This is just a horrible addition to the DVC system. Making a mockery of what a Deluxe Resort/accommodations DVC is suppose to be. All 1-bedroom units. (Point hogs and will add further pressure at the 7-month window). The bedroom has bunk beds in the same room as the queen. Why bother with...

What do we think the odds are CFW will be added to CC/WL as another expansion versus new association?

Wilderness Lodge et all and Fort Wilderness are two totally different resorts, next to each other. Just like Grand Floridian is next to Poly. The DVC trailer park will be its own association. Since its a new resort, it should have resale restrictions like Rivieria......which will choke off the...

    D23-SO Many Things Coming!

Very lack luster D23.....A few needed refurbs, a lounge and a few "this might happens". No new rides, no new shows announced.

Does DVC ever upgrade for free?

We have been upgraded several times over the years. Last year we had a 1-bedroom booked, got a 2-bedroom. Most of the upgrades are with views. Our last Riviera stay, we booked a standard room and got a preferred view. Last time at BLT we booked a lake view and got Theme Park view. We have never...

How much do you use Uber/Lyft at WDW?

We use Uber/Lyft often during our WDW stays. Its nice to use for going out to Dinner, not being dependent on the wide variations in waiting times of the Disney transportation system. We split between using Uber/Lyft or private transfer back and forth to the airport....depends on how many people...

    February vs April?

April can be hit or miss with the weather. Its never too cold, usually pleasant on the warmer side, but could definitely see some days pushing up to 90.

DIS DVC 1000 Point Club (New)

So....I was taught many years ago from some fellow DVC big point guys about using DVC for snowbirding for "free". Its a very basic formula.....calculate the points you would need, buy twice that amount and rent half of those points. The money earned would easy cover all the maintenance fees plus...

PLEASE,,,,,Stop calling Riviera an EPCOT resort.

Cracks me up every time I reread this post. But I have to add, Disney is the same people that defines a 10 year old as an adult for park tickets and dining plans.

best guess where resale prices will be in 2 years?

Awesome that this thread came back..... Wow, how times have changed. Been a sellers market for a few years now. I bought a bunch between 2010 and 2012 before the increase in resale prices. Next recession, I am going hard on the VGF distressed resales!
