I personally would not use BA ever again, they ruined our 2 year in the planning 25th anniversary to Vegas. Would rather not go than go with them.

Staying in December at The Royal Plaza at DTD. Paid in advance and got a silly, very cheap price for a Suite, 12 days here and then 2 nights at the Contemporary with MK view (which is nearly as much as the 12!)

Stayed a couple of times at Courtyard by Marriott which is very nice and quiet. Also stayed at the old Grosvenor and three times at the Royal Plaza and going back to the RP in December. Main reason is DTD, we spend so much time there we should be as close as possible!!!

I think there is a diner in Old Town itself and we had some wicked Chicken skewers thingys last time we went on the main drag. Also the main gift type shop on the main street used to have small Pepsi bottles for $.25 cents

All sorted. I have booked the first 12 nights at the Royal Plaza at DTD in an Executive Suite. We have stayed at the RP a few times before and love the location and we got such a good price it was hard to turn down! Roll on December (well May first as we are going to Vegas first!)
