Good news. Virgin have been in contact with Alamo and they have agreed to refund the charge. One point though, Alamo rep at Orlando was not the most forthcoming when I declined the "extras". This was not explained to me but I should have read the small print. At least I have been refunded.

We checked in with Virgin twilight last night, 5th. Very quiet, straight through. This morning we passed the check in desk, 10 people at desks. Now sat in the V room enjoying breakfast and chilling. Flight leaves at 10.40. Will it be empty or will there be a mad rush to fill it? :confused3...

We fly Dec 6th and have had mixed weather in previous years. Packing for cold and hot, just in case. I always say we can buy whatever else we need. Enjoy.:thumbsup2

Double checked our passports and my sons expires June 12th 2013. We land back home Dec 21st. Is it 6 months after or 3 months we land it must be valid for?:eek: Just checked, 90 days after we are due to come home which means March 21st 2013:thumbsup2 That will teach me.

We will use theirs, just find it easier. Of note, I have tried to book a childs meal for Dec 6th for our 12 year old. On line the choices are not that appealing, veggie, Muslim, Hindu, salt free. Not a childs meal in sight.:confused3
