That happened to me too last week and I had to call. My fastpass day was today so I wanted to make sure everything was in check before I tried making them! It took a bit but they fixed the problem, although I did sit on hold for about 40 minutes before getting help.

Yes, you are right. We just still have to go to the front desk when we arrive since we do not get our rooms numbers sent to us or our Magic Bands mailed out, so I still associate it with checking in even though that is not technically what we are doing. But yes, we have, in fact, already...

We are spending a few days at WDW after a cruise, so we will be driving in from Port Canaveral the morning of our first Disney day. I would like to drive directly to DHS before checking into our hotel to maximize our park time. We are Canadian, so we will not be receiving our Magic Bands by mail...

Loving the report so far, especially the Disney portion. I have to say that I have been on many Carnival cruises and you unfortunately made had all the wrong food choices. :duck::laughing: :crazy2: They really do have some great food, but not what you chose. I agree that it looked depressing!

I know it might seem cheesy, but getting matching shirts is a lifesaver trying to keep track of everyone, especially if you are attempting to stick together. We had them for our first day last trip (there was 16 of us) and the following days we really missed them when we weren't wearing them...

I have done both and this definitely takes away one of the big benefits of staying on site - no more free parking at the parks since you have to pay to stay at the resort anyway. The cost of staying on site is already atrocious compared to staying off site. I'm not usually one to complain about...

They had them at Tortuga Tavern in September. They still do according to the WDW menus. I'm not sure about the DP though, sorry. I'm pretty sure we paid OOP.
