Tours - which would you do and why - plus any additional information ?

Do they even offer these tours anymore? I’ve been researching tours as well, and haven’t seen any of these listed. Did you find them on the Disney website?

Question about water park option and more tickets

We're planning on staying for 14 nights next year, which will give us 13 full days. If I would buy a 10 day base ticket (no park hoppers) and then add on the water parks and more option does that mean we'd have 10 days in the theme parks, and then on our three free days we could go to the water...

    Please review my itinerary

....or by a "break" do you mean taking a break from rides in the park? Sorry if I misunderstood; when I read "break" I thought it meant you wanted to go back to the Poly but after re-reading I think you meant staying in the park?

    Please review my itinerary

One issue with breaks is that you also have to count in the time to leave the parks, travel to the resort, and then enter the park again. Even with staying at a monorail resort, the one hour break scheduled on day 2 really won't give you a break by the time you wait for the boat or monorail...

How to plan a relaxing and yet fun trip to WDW?

I was thinking this too, especially since it sounds like OP is doing a water park too? Truthfully, when my kids were around that age I never found Disney=relaxing. Part of the issue is that they'll see all those fun looking rides, and it might be hard to tell them they can't ride it. If it were...

    Disney world cupcakes

The Cappacino (sp) cupcake at Pizza Planet was my favorite.

Anyone ever skipped an ADR to ride first?

Given that it's a QS for lunch, they'd probably just cram you in there anyway. I have a feeling they don't worry so much about people showing up on time for the QS meals.

Anyone ever skipped an ADR to ride first?

I'm guessing she probably couldn't get an earlier ADR, hence the 8:55 one. OP, I'd try it. I doubt they'll turn you away at BOG as long as you're there by 9:15 ish.

Question about Tomorrowland Speedway for a family of 5.

How old/big are the kids? When mine were little, my 2 daughters (4 and then 5) rode with me, and our son (2 and then 3) rode with Dh. This last May, we had a Dad in front of us who was solo with 2 little boys, and all 3 rode in the car together.

Christmas Break: Talk me out (or in) of going then

We're planning a return to trip to WDW sometime in 2017. We've been twice in September (before the kids were in school), and twice in late May/early June as soon as school lets out. Late May/early June was nice crowd-wise, but that heat and humidity was a killer! So, I've been (insanely?)...

Snack credit for cupcake from Starbucks?

I've read that the Trolley Car Café (Starbucks) in DHS sells those famous Butterfinger cupcakes. Can you purchase one using a snack credit? I know they also sell the cupcakes at Starring Rolls, but since that closes early it would be easier for us to grab the cupcakes at Trolley Car before we...

    Garden Grill Astonishingly Booked

Try calling. Garden Grill on-line ADRs have been wonky for a few weeks now.

Thinking of dropping Boma for dinner due to cost

We've got a dinner ADR for Boma, and also lunch at Tusker House (on different days). We'll keep Tusker: we loved it when we ate there years ago, plus since it's a late lunch we'll just have a small snack then for dinner that night. I'm seconf guessing our Boma ADR though due to the cost. $40...

    Restaurant Marrakesh or Garden Grill?

We're currently booked for a late lunch at Restaurant Marrakesh. Although the reviews on tripadvisor are decent, I've read some negative comments on disboards about this restaurant. We've eaten at Garden Grill in the past, and enjoyed it. I can't decide if we should try for an ADR at GG instead...

Boma and Yak & Yeti or Tusker House (lunch)

We've got two days planned at AK for our upcoming trip. For one of the days, we'll be eating at Boma for dinner (a first for us). For the other day, I currently have Yak & Yeti booked but I'm thinking about switching to Tusker House (providing I can even get an ADR there for what time I...

    Garden Grill Reservation Trouble

Yep! I've been having that happen to me the last few days, not only with GG but Tusker House too. I ended up just booking Restaurant Marrakesh and Yak & Yeti instead.

Disney's ANIMAL KINGDOM LODGE Information & Questions

We're staying at CBR, but have an ADR for dinner one evening at Boma. After our meal, will we be allowed to look at the animals outside? How many animal viewing areas are there, and which is the "best"? Any other must-see things we should check out while we're here? Lobby, gardens? Thanks!

    Buffet question...

Yep, like pp said, they charge you per person at the buffets. Nearly all have just the buffet for the option (no menus). The two exceptions I can think of are breakfast at The Wave and Captain's Grill: both have a buffet or you can order off the menu. Ohana is all-you-care-to-eat served family...

Is the reservation system not working for anyone else?

I figured out why it's doing it for me. Times are coming up that aren't actually available. You can tell they aren't because of a faint thin line through the times. When you click on those times, it will just return to the original page. When I find a time without the thin line, then it does go...

Is the reservation system not working for anyone else?

It's been doing the same thing to me since late last night.
