You are correct, I made an assumption. I figured if she felt strongly enough to keep him out of the delivery room, she had good reason for it. That may not be the case. Either way, she is the one giving birth, she is the patient, she should decide who, if anybody, can be in the room with her.

The way I see it, it was not the Judge that blocked the father from the delivery room, it was the woman giving birth. The Judge just agreed that she had the right to do it. Maybe he should have treated his pregnant girlfriend better???
