Per their website - "Qualifying Rates include: Consortia, Volume Corporate, AAA, AARP, Government, Package, Group Association, Group Corporate, Group Government, Advance Purchase, Florida Residents and Universal Pass holders." I haven't had a problem with my stays counting using the AP rate...

I stay at a Loews hotel at least 3 times per year for 6 days each time. That way I get in 6 stays and remain gold. :thumbsup2

"Now, stay more than five consecutive days and your stay will count as two." (I just copied this now from the Loews Hotel website.) I try to stay at least 6 nights to cover myself for 2 stays and remain gold. :woohoo:

9 night B2B on Magic or 8 night on NCL Getaway

We booked both the DCL b2b and the NCL cruise, so we have plenty of time to think it through and read up on reviews til we have to make any final payments. I know going in to it tho that NCL is not DCL but DS is getting older and may outgrow DCL in the future. So we might try a different line...

9 night B2B on Magic or 8 night on NCL Getaway

I lucked out that the room was available both cruises. Fortunately I had read about it in advance so knew it would be a plus. Thanks! :thumbsup2

9 night B2B on Magic or 8 night on NCL Getaway

I greatly appreciate your input! We probably will stick with the B2B on the Magic. Thanks again.

9 night B2B on Magic or 8 night on NCL Getaway

I need help deciding. After 5 cruises on DCL (no other cruise line) would you recommend doing a 5/4 B2B (WC/Bahamas and Key West) on the Magic or an 8 night Eastern Caribbean cruise on the NCL Getaway. The NCL cruise is $900 cheaper. It would be me, DH and DS12 for November 2015. (We have...

Have any deluxe guests tried to go to cabana bay

When we went to Universal in April and stayed at PBH we went over to CB and an attendant at the pool said that we were certainly allowed in. He said our PBH room key should also work for the gate. I didn't try it at the time though. We are again staying at PBH next week and have confirmed...

Diagon Alley July 8th Grand Opening

I trust your judgment. That's my plan; I'd rather keep my reservation as booked and chance it with a soft opening. I can't rebook for about 6 months anyway as we have a cruise planned in October. Keeping my fingers crossed for soft openings soon! :goodvibes

Diagon Alley July 8th Grand Opening

I know, I only have until Monday, June 23 to cancel. So I am hoping that there will be soft openings before I need to decide. I did just check online to see if packages were still able to be booked starting June 29 and yes they can. However you must keep the tickets included in the package...

Diagon Alley July 8th Grand Opening

I just called because we are booked, room reservation only not a package, for June 28 - July 5 and was wondering the same thing. The CM I spoke to stated that again that those who have a package reserved (as advertised from June 29 on) will be honored before July 8 and able to access Diagon...

    Cabana Bay Cabana Rental

I just checked another website and found pictures of the cabanas. (I don't know if I can name the website here.) They surround the main pool and "Cabanas for daily rental that include a ceiling fan, flat panel television, refrigerator, and outlets – $100 per day (prices may vary)." They also...

    Cabana Bay Cabana Rental

I just called and booked a cabana at CB for July 4 - paying $100, from 9 a.m. til 10 p.m. I asked and the cabanas are located only at the main pool, not at the lazy river pool. We are staying at PBH . When we went in April , we went twice over to CB to go bowling and play in the arcade - good...

Info on Universal resorts and discounts

We stayed at PBH at Universal the week of Easter this April - Monday, 4/21 - Sunday, 4/27 (6 nights) and using the APH rate, paid $269 for 4 nights and $219 for 2 nights. We usually go that third week of April yearly and have always gotten APH rates. As you know, Easter changes every year...

Nervous about our first Universal trip - June 30th & July 1

I would definitely recommend staying on-site. We will be there also during that time and anticipate insanity. The benefits to staying on-site will be worth their weight in gold - makes the difference for a more relaxed vacation. We're staying at PBH - close enough yet far enough from it all!

PBH garden view or bay view? Need input fast!

My experience with Garden View at PBH is that it can be pool view. The GV rooms at PBH may look out on the main pool area in the West Wing or if in the East Wing may look out on a quiet walkway leading to the front of the hotel. I have never gotten a bad view at PBH. There are no parking lot...

How many days will you spend at US/IOA when Diagon Alley opens?

Will probably hit Universal each day, but definitely going to LEGOLAND for one day. Already did SeaWorld back in April. :)
