We are on the WBTA as well. We will leave kids (in college) and elderly parents at home so we will have the international plan - which works extremely well- and well as iMessage and the largest internet package.
The sea days are the time I have used the most internet in the past.
The Doubletree Victoria Station is the only London hotel that will let you catch DCL transport there, without staying at the Doubletree.

I have done both. I personally liked the somewhat cooler temps of the TA vs PC. Also, on the PC, Colombia is very poor and that was sad to me. We saw lots and lots of begging and homeless people.
