    Give me your camping tips!

To answer your other question about outlets to plug in the cart to charge, most sites have a separate post at the front of the site with 2 15amp receptacles you can plug the cart into, plug in lights for your site, etc.

    Level Sites?

I've camped at the Fort dozens of times the our last trip was the first time our site wasn't level. It was in the 600 loop. When they poured the extra slab to make it a premium site, it was a bout 2" lower and I was unhooked before I noticed.

    full hook up sites

The 1900 loop can be a bit tight, but 1600-1800 you'll be fine. I have a 40 ft travel trailer and wasn't able to get into a site in 1900 so they moved me to 1600.

What are the chances of getting an early check in time?

Since you are arriving on an "off day" your chances are better as there are more empty sites during the week that you don't have to wait for them to be cleaned. If you were coming on Sunday morning I'd say it's not likely your site will be ready early. Have fun!

    Booked for March 2019

You will be fine that week. Also set yourself a reminder for 60 days from your check-in date to book your fast passes. Also you can book your dining reservations 180 day in advance, but in some cases even earlier. There is a good calculator and info here for that...

Getting in late - tent camping

I would keep it as is for a couple of reasons: 1) You can get there early the next day and get setup like you said versus waiting until the 1pm check in. 2) Just dropping the first night from the reservation isn't that simple. They will want to cancel your reservation and then make an new one...

    2100 Loop Favour Request

Also as an FYI there is an app called Fort Wilderness Sites available for IoS and Android that has the specs of every site (where water, power, etc connections are), difficulty of backing in, and pictures of the site empty (for most). Wouldn't have helped you in this case though as it's not...

SO Disappointed In Disney's Early Check-In Now...

That would be great then we could use Wandering Labs to check availability!

    Online check in changed?

Reminds of a picture from a while back of a soda machine at one of bus stop loops that said "Ice on 2nd floor"! Guessing the the machine came from the Wilderness Lodge :)

    Curious...what's your favorite loop???

When our kids were younger we preferred the 1400 loop because it was close to the meadows and the movie. We would try to get the inner loop of 1400 (Little Bear Path) because the kids could ride around the loop and we could see them all the time. Now that they are older we usually request 1600...

    Victoria & Alberts Engagement

I proposed to my wife at Citrico's at the Grand Floridian. They brought our entree's out with domes on them so as not to have her plate stand out. When they took the lid off, the ring was sitting in the center of a rose on the plate. It was a very special evening. My only recommendation is to...

Quantity of electricity available to me?

Most sites also have a couple outlets near the front of the site for charging Electric Carts so you could use those as well.

I think FW may be losing me

While I see lots of responses like "The Fort wins hands down..." or "I'll go because it feels like home..", everyone on this board has a point at which it is too much. There was a thread a few months back that was based on the question of How much is too much and most folks were in the $100...

Does anyone walk around the Fort?

And as comedian Steven Wright says "Anywhere is within walking distance if you have the time"!
