    Dream 9/4-Disappointed So Far

I should have been more precise. Our entire family went to see the Villains show. It was not a good shows as the characters were not of interest. My wife and son also went to see the Golden Mickeys show and found the dancers off key and the show too similar to what she saw on earlier DCL...

    Dream 9/4-Disappointed So Far

The shoes didn't fit anyone in our family otherwise we would have considered them a Disney welcome on board gift!:goodvibes

    Dream 9/4-Disappointed So Far

Thanks for the feedback and yes I know I have to learn to relax. Service improved after a rough first day but there were still some issues that will prevent us from going on the Dream again. Our dining room servers - Sebastian (Canada) and Brenton (St.Vincent) were outstanding - quick...

    Dream 9/4-Disappointed So Far

Check-in today slower than our 3 previous sailings. They make you wait across the street in the new parking garage even though we had a 10:30 boarding. A Disney employee complained they had changed everything while he was on vacation so he couldn't offer guidance on how to save time. Waited...

    3am really necessary?

For my 7 day Eastern cruise sailing Jan. 6 I booked Palo dinner and high tea at 3 a.m. at 90 days out, and, checking 30 minutes later, found Palo dinners sold out. I know they keep some seats for later, and there will always be some no - shows, but if you really want it for a specific time...

Cruise Line Formalwear - Service Still OK?

Will call tomorrow. It was good just hearing that they are not perfect but do come through at the end.

Recent 1st Timers have you gotten Castaway Club Cards?

Our experience was not typical of Disney. We sailed March 06, but only got our CC nos. in July via email when we asked. Cards arrived in October.http://www.wdwinfo.com/images/smilies/sad20.gif

Cruise Line Formalwear - Service Still OK?

We are sailing Saturday Jan. 6 and I was wondering if Cruise Line Formalwears' recent service is still okay. I have not received an email confirmation of my Dec. 16 online order, which I believe is supposed to happen automatically. When I called Dec. 21 they seemed a little unorganized, gave...

    Kennedy Space Center

Our 6 y.o. son loved it! We found it took all day to see and we didn't see everything! Just remember that if you are going in the winter it can be cool. Our late March visit was 60 degrees with a strong wind - we froze as we had packed for the warmer caribbean weather!

Terminal Question - Coffee shop or store?

On our March 06 cruise there was a little kiosk selling snacks, souvenirs, etc. (We got an autograph book). Its on the right side, at the back, where you check in for the Oceaneers Club/Lab. Small but will do in a pinch. Enjoy your vacation - your strong Loonie will go farther this year...

Spa-Two Appointments at Same Time -DCL Says No

Another question for your DCL experts: I could not book pedicure appointments for my wife and mother-in-law for the same time while online last night. (They want to do it together, or not at all) DCL phone support says you cannot book the same two treatments at the same time. They also said...

Online Booking - Exact Start Time?

Thanks everyone - that what I thoug :yay: ht! Looks like DCL has a problem with their phone support. Will set alarm for 2:45 a.m. ET as before........its worth it.

Online Booking - Exact Start Time?

Can anyone confirm the exact time to start booking online? I have read in other posts that it is 3 a.m. Eastern Time, and in fact this was the case for our cruise earlier this year. However in double checking with DCL directly today I was told by two different people that it is 12:01 a.m...

Two Excursions in St Maarten - Posible?

Is is possible to do the Under Two Flags excursion in the morning, and the Golden Eagle Catamaran in the afternoon? PassPorter says Two Flags typically leaves at 8:45 a.m and lasts 3 hours, and the Golden Eagle starts at 1 p.m. Has anyone done this? It would be a great way to satisfy all four...

    Pirate night on Wonder?

On Wonder March 26-30 it was held Tuesday as well. My only complaint about the entire cruise was that it started late (9:45) and the Pirates apparently came later (it was scheduled to last until 11:30) so my 5 year old boy was never able to stay awake long enough to defend his ship. :cool1:

    Wonder-March 26-30-Highlights

The weather on departure was cool as most of Florida was in the 60s with strong northerly winds. Onboard Sunday we wore light sweaters and avoided the pool. But by Monday in Nassau it was in the mid-upper 70s. Castaway Cay Tuesday was around 80, the water was cool at first. But the beach was...

    Wonder-March 26-30-Highlights

As a small token of thanks to all on this board whose wisedom helped us prepare and enjoy our first Disney cruise, here are some key points/observations from our cruise which ended today: 1. Radisson Resort Hotel - a good idea for those not on the Land-Sea packages. The rooms are beginning...

    question on room assignment

The only way you will lose that room is if DCL gives you a complimentary upgrade, which is rare. That room is yours! :cool1:
