Yes, you just ride your ECV to park entrance. I *have* left my ECV in front of a ride or attraction in the designated parking area for that attraction. It is somewhat risky but I felt comfortable doing it.

I never had to remove the back basket. I will say that it can be problematic getting on and off the bus however.
