It's been awhile...looking for updated tips & advice

I used these boards to gain a world of information several years ago, and that was our last WDW trip. I am considering surprising our 2 daughters with an October trip. Here's my question--what is your updated advice for what apps, technology, etc. I should be using to plan the trip. I know...

Has anyone tried Crocs sassari wedge style?

Have you tried this Sassari wedge sandal? If so, how does it fit? Where did you find it? I would like to try one on in person, but I have found them nowhere. Is it more narrow than the regular style?

Best place to buy "travel size" toiletries?

I believe I have seen advertised at Sephora that they have travel-sizes for some of their products.

    Another Croc's question....

Does anyone have the wedge Sassari style? If you do, are they as wide as the basic style? I have not been able to find them in a store. Has anyone?

Best food to buy for snacks/breakfast???

We are big fans of breakfast bar. My DH's favorite right now are the Target brand that has peanut butter & choc. chips in them. Sure, they're not all that healthy, but it does get him to eat something for breakfast. The girls like them, too. I do recommend packs of peanut butter & crackers...

What kind of walking athletic shoes do you like?

I am an Asics girl. Nikes just don't fit me well, and I have worn Adidas b/c they were gifts, and they worked okay, but I love the way Asics fit my feet. My DH has some New Balance that he likes.

    Jibbitz for Crocs?

I know that I saw them at the World of Disney store in DTD, and I believe they may have been at the gift shop in the Polynesian. The selection at WoD was slim, though. There were lots at the Crocs store in the Orlando (MCO) airport. I was concerned about the size and whether they would fit...

    Exit Row?

We were fortunate enough to get exit row seats on Delta several years ago for a long flight. There was lots more leg room, and it was so much nicer.

    Autograph Books

I believe you can find different varieties with Disney characters on them at Wal-Mart or Target in the Orlando area. I remember seeing some that were spiral-bound.

    Do airlines change times often?

I had reserved our tickets with Delta almost 10 months in advance, and they made several changes to our flights. Now, our tickets were award tickets, so I don't know if they had anything to do with the major changes that were made. The main one was that our return trip had a stop when the...

Best driving directions from High Point, NC to Orlando?

We have driven to Orlando/Daytona a couple times from Asheville after visiting friends. I don't remember exactly what route we took to get to 95, but that's the way we got to central Florida. When I used mapquest, they sent us that way even though we left from central Kentucky. I would...

    Luggage Dilemma in rental Car

All of the suggestions mentioned earlier are viable ones to get you and your party through the week. We just rented a car in February for the first time with children, so I thought I would let you know just how much a premium car (VW Passat) holds. We were upgraded from full-size at check-in...

    Playhouse Disney breakfast opinions??

We tried this Playhouse Disney character breakfast during our Feb. trip. We had a 9:00 reservation for breakfast, but we arrived around 8:30. We had never had an early reservation right at park opening, so I was glad to see a separate line to let us in MGM. There was a CM with a reservation...

    Liquids on Flights

Remember that you are allowed 1 ziploc baggie with liquids for each ticketed passenger. It seemed to me that the people who were prepared just received glances and breezed through. I did see some who were not prepared and these people had been asked to step aside, prohibited from touching...

    What's easier?

There were 4 of us, one rental car, 4 checked bags, a stroller, and 2 carseats. We considered having my husband drop 3 of us off at the curb and then return the car by himself, but we all went to Enterprise to return the car. It was not a hassle at all. There were several shuttles waiting...

This is the *NEW* Yacht & Beach Club Question & Answer Forum. Yea...we're still here.

I have never stayed at AKL, but my family stayed at BC last year, and we loved it. It was laid-back, and we loved the pools. You are right at the back door of Epcot, and as the previous post said, it does not take long to get there. One day we even walked through Epcot to catch the monorail...

Thoughts from our trip--flying, Enterprise & more

I had checked the boards daily and posted many questions about our trip, so I wanted to post a few comments after it is all over: 1. We breezed through security after I read all of your suggestions about packing and going through with kids. We put our baggies with liquids and our baggies...
