    Harry Potter merchandise

Hello all- apologies if this has been asked before, tried the search function and the results were a bit overwhelming :) I was just wondering if Harry Potter merchandise is available for purchase outside of the park (i.e CityWalk)? Was hoping to put together a fun christmas gift for my...

No ADR = out of luck?

Thanks....I was somehow able to snag a late reservation, but the time is less than desirable (9:50!!), so I will keep trying...but at least I have *something*! :cool2:

    Be our Guest reservations

I just got an ADR for mid-January, and I think that was purely luck. Definitely 180 days out for this one....

No ADR = out of luck?

I'm sorry, I am sure this has been asked a million times, but as a local, we go to Disney frequently, and don't really make ADRs 180 days out. It's very frustrating to want to go to a restaurant sort of last-minute, and have nothing available. Do any of these restaurants reserve space for...

    Busch Gardens Tampa tips

I agree with most of this. I wouldn't stay in a hotel near BG, it's not the greatest area. I also wouldn't stay in the Channelside area, only because so many of the restaurants and shops have recently closed, and there really isn't much to do there (and is also close to the downtown area, which...

    Brazil tour groups

::yes:: I have a 9 month old DD, and the thought of anyone knocking her down with such disregard gets my blood boiling. I promise that would NOT end well if that ever happened to my family :furious: I've noticed tour groups here and there in the parks, but never the outrageous behavior...

    You went HOW many times?!?!

We go probably 12-15 times per year, but they are usually just day trips, since we live in Tampa. It's still fun to answer those survey people in the park by telling them we've probably been over 100 times. Their eyes usually get quite wide....:lmao:

Say Bye-Bye To The iasw Goodbyes

Maybe it's just me, but I don't like when they mess with the classics like this. I'm really glad I rode this a few weeks ago before they started with the changes....

    50's Prime Time Question

I think taking issue with this terminology is being a bit "picky", don't you think? Haha, sorry, had to.

    50's Prime Time Question

I think as a general rule, Disney tries to be as accomodating as possible- I'm fairly certain they encounter more than their fair share of picky eaters ;)

    Crowds Jan 20-26?

Not as horrible as you might think, given that it's a holiday weekend....

Going to Disney May 8-16-- what crowd level should I expect?

This is a low crowd period- my crowd calendar is showing 3, 4, and 5s. The only thing going on is the beginning of Star Wars Weekends at HS, which starts on May 17. Beginning and mid-May is always a lovely time to go to WDW. :)

Spring Break: how crazy is it?

I would definitely be fully prepared for the worst during those times...I think you can still have a great time, just expect long lines, etc. I personally stay far away from the parks during peak times like that, but I know that isn't an option for everyone. I feel like early mornings and...

Scared to go back to WDW?? :(

I'm sorry you had a bad trip. I agree with others- you deserve a do-over. I'm really sad to hear about the theft- I guess I am also guilty of forgetting that although it is WDW, it is also the real world, and there is always a chance something can get stolen. So, thanks for that reminder. I...

Just a "in general" happy dance

I wasn't sure where else to post this! My husband has to work on Saturdays, so lately I have been taking our 9 month baby girl to WDW on those days, and it has turned into a bit of "girls day" activity. It's been so special and fun to spend that time with her- we usually just stroll around...

Disney is first and foremost about kids...

I agree with this! Even now that I have a baby, I still feel a bit odd waiting in line to see characters. I took her to see Mickey last month and felt nervous waiting in the line because it seemed a little awkward to be interacting with a person in a costume for the sake of my 8 month old...

    Florida residents unite!

Yes, I guess I understand as well, but it is what it is...You don't live here, you don't get the discounts. :confused3 ETA: and I guess the argument will cycle back around to not getting any sympathy from non-residents, but again, I don't think that was the OP's intention with this post. So silly!

    Florida residents unite!

That's a good point- I wouldn't be caught dead at any of the parks during the most crowded times of the year anyways, so I don't think I would have been affected by this change...you may find this to be true of many FL residents... Unrelated to your post, but I must say I find the anger from...
