What about the Best Western Park Place, right across the street. My cousin and her boyfriend stayed there in June and loved it!!

I would recommend going for at least 2 days or more. Personally I don't think that 1 day would be enough time to see everything....especially if you have to drive down from LA. Why not check out some hotels near DL?? It's much easier to stay closer to the park!!

Just got back from my DLR trip. I had the worst experience with Supershuttle ever...will definitely not be recommending them to anybody else. From the airport (LAX) to the hotel the guy drove like a nut case...we all thought we would be in an accident. We then tipped the guy and he was pissed...

I will be there next week as well. I am going with short, capris and jeans. Although, coming from Canada 69 degrees is like summer to us. Right now we have snow and it's about 40 degrees and windy. I am so excited for the warmer weather!!!!
