We are getting ready for our first Disney cruise on May 8th!! Yea!! This may be a dumb question, but do we need to pack towels for aroud the pool, etc??? I suspect the answer is no, but we wnna be prepared.....any other advice for first time cruisers??

We are sailing this Saturday on the Magic...Woo Hooo!!!. Its our first disney Cruise. Anyway, we paid 6000 for two rooms for a family of 6. (4 kiddos 8, 10, 10, 12) So souds like you are in the ball park.

We have yet to hear welcome home from the BWV people at check in. They have been less than cheerful everytime we have been there (members since 99). The security guards, however are wonderful. We got a "Welcome Home" every time from them.

I just park it myself......you know what they say..a penny saved...guess i am just too impatient to wait for them to go get it when I want to go somewhere:earsboy:

Hello all. Do any of you occasionally leave the kids behind and spend some time at DVC with just your spouse??? What are your thoughts?? Do you find you miss the kids or not?

I have a few questions about renting. We have a reservation for October at BWV on points we are considering renting out. What is the going rate for points? Does it depend on anything? Also, is it possible to change the name on the ressie to the new renter's name?? Any other restrictions...

Hello all....Should I have recieved the new guidebook yet for 2003-2003???? I notice that 2003 points are online, but we need to do some planning ( no dvc this year... boo...but next year we will do the cruise in may and bwv in october of 2003....yeah!!) Thanks!!!

we are looking at going on the seven day in october. From all the information I can find the only way to get a family of six on the boat is to buy two cabins. kids are 10, 8,8, and 6. Does anyone have any experience with a family this size. Any pointers?? What's more, is they say we must pay...

Just got back from a Sep 10-14 stay at BWV. Between the WTc attack ( god help us all ) and the tropical storm, this was the most depressing week to be at WDW. WE tried to put a happy face on for the kids, but ended up leaving a day early to drive here to Colorado. Very depressing.....:(

It seems I have read that the BWV pool will be closd in September for rehab....is this for sure??? We are considering cancelling our trip if this is true. Thanks

WE usualy go to BWV right after Labor day, and the lines and weather are perfect. This year my vacation is the last week of october.....anybody have feedback on that time of year.....Weather??? Crowds??? etc. Thanks!!!
