I enjoyed the experience of T-Rex. The food was average but it was a lot of fun and my kids still don't shut up about it a year later. Wolfgang Puck is pretty good for a quick bite. I really enjoyed getting an Ice Cream at Ghirardelli's.

I doubt one onsite hotel will be better than another for WiFi. What's most important is getting a room near one of the access points. The WiFi in our room at Coronado Springs was excellent. Fast enough to stream Netflix without any issues.

Your park ticket will be a card with an RFID chip in it, this chip identifies you. When you go to the fastpass queue you will hold your card against a Mickey symbol and it will turn green to say that you have a valid fastpass.

I don't follow! I believe all of Casitas are preffered rooms. 1,2 & 3 are the better rooms for getting to El Centro. 5 are the better rooms for getting to the dig site. In my opinion, it isn't worth booking a preferred room.

We tried to book at the restaurant and they told us to call them! Apparently they only release a small % of their tables to the Disney booking system. The rest is for their own reservations and walk ups. We booked the night before we went and got the time we wanted no problem.
