Huntington Beach or Newport Beach both about the same distance. When you get to Pacific Coast Highway, right for HB left for NB. If you want to travel a little further south try Laguna Beach. Nice shopping, great beach plus lots of tide pools at low tide. And lots of nice restaurants :goodvibes

    Should we do Midieval Times?

The show is great just don't buy all the junk they try to sell you. I was looking around for a way to get there and not finding too much. You could get a taxi, but could probaly rent a car for the day at about the same price as the taxi.

    Should we do Midieval Times?

Medieval Times is kinda a money pit. They try to sell you all kind of souvenirs and expensive drinks you might be better off going to a nice restaurant in Downtown Disney. Legoland over Thanksgiving

There is a really good deal for Legoland until the end of this month with tickets for adults at 50% off. After the end off the month back to full price which I think is too much for what you get. Just about the same price as Disneyland which has way more rides and things to do. 50% off is online...

We are just over one mile away. I have been reading in the local papers than some of the houses that are real close are having problems with the smoke form the fireworks drifting over them every night and causing health problems. So we are close but not to close :)

    Legoland

Legoland is great for children up to about 12 years old. Older than that they may find it a bit boring after the first hour or so. The young ones you will have to drag them out teen age will never stop saying "when are we leaving" :)

    New to DISboards

Wow great BB here. We live in Anaheim so are quite familier with Disney. In the summer we can view the fireworks from our front yard every night. Several family members even work at the park :flower: Looks like I have a lot of reading to do.
