I completely agree. This was our experience as well. The rides and stores gave a nice break from the heat.

WDW is lots and lots of walking! I think that's the best kind of training you can do. Get out in the evenings and walk. The more stamina you build up, the better off you'll be! (But remember that there are lots and lots of places to rest and catch your breath. So you can set your own pace!)...
